GLAKO-FAHN Escribi:

and ,has nobody here had sober hallucinations?

I have! I was really sick when I was 13 and I ended up with a fever of 106. I was lying on the couch watching cartoons and the television set was moving closer and closer to me as the walls started breathing and were moving further back. The room looked enormous and everything sounded hollow. I kept seeing people walk by but my mom and I were the only ones home and she was in the kitchen. I remember thinking there was water on the blankets, I remember feeling like the covers were sopping wet so I called for my mom. She came over, told me I was burning up, then panicked and threw me into a cold bath (then ran and got ice). I tell ya, there's little else more sobering than being dunked into icy cold water.

I also had a weird hallucination around the time my appendix ruptured...

everybody has such interesting things to say. knowing things, I look forward to.

I'm cooked. This wasn't planned at all. Came home from my exam, studied a bit then just stepped out for a couple hours to my buddy's going away party from work. And that ended up being an entire night and I'm now rather intoxicated. Nice one. Back to the study in the morning.

Damn, i hate these fuckin' dull radio buttons on Radio 1. Only 5 to 15 minutes skipping. Who the hell thought this up, ey? I always need to skip and cancel the window afterwards repeating all steps just to listen to Do It Again! Dammit.

Buzzed posting on the second page of the forum? This isn't right. You know I've been studying too much when...

Anyways, after an abortive study attempt, it was my good friend Sylvia's b-day tonight, so out for some drinks. Felt like getting high but didn't want to buy any weed, so I figured red wine was the next closest thing. So, some ephedrine, Irish coffees, pints, and just polishing the last of a very nice bottle of South African Shiraz off now. Also downed a boatload of codeine after buying some coffee filters on the way home. It's about 4 AM and I think I'm going to start studying now. The codeine rush is just starting now and I think it's going to be a good night. Well, it's already been a good night.

And, for those of you on Facebook, I've co-started a "John Tortorella is the man" group to honour the coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who told a reporter to fuck off on live TV yesterday. Torts is the Chuck Norris of the NHL, eating reporters and goaltenders alike for breakfast. Join up, add me, whatever. Search it and ye shall find.

Cheers all!

Exams done. 18-hour wreckathon just concluded. Too much booze, too much green, too much love. I love fungus. Hadn't done mushrooms since last summer but this was a very nice night. It's after 6 AM and I'm rambling and exhausted. 2 1/2 hours sleep in the past nearly 48...

I'm tired and the sun is coming up and I'm going to read for a bit. Just talked to mom since I accidentally set off my car alarm while stumbling into the house. Faked my way through rather well. Cheers.

I may expand on this later.

So, yeah, more details I guess. Exam went reasonably well, picked up an absolute crapload of shrooms, went out for lunch and beers with some girls from school, vodka and energy drinks while watching Manchester United v. AC Milan at my best friend's, to the campus bar for a couple pitchers of beer and get stoned, back to a friend's place where I got more ridiculously stoned and polished a bottle of Portuguese wine and a couple beers, then to a house party where beers and a fair bit of shrooms followed.

Stayed at the party until it finally died around 5 AM and the shrooms were wearing down. Had a g + t and a beer, then home for 6 AM. Set off my car alarm while walking up the driveway and I couldn't get it to turn off right away. Woke my mom up and had a brief conversation with her before reading for a bit and then catching some kip.
