Nice. I managed to use an alternate e-mail address and get back on Mixingbowl, so I'll have to pick it up.

That SMD video rocks hard.

One more band in my must-see-live list.

Everyone should go to Coachella and experience it just once. It's a fantastic festival... and if the Chems are playing (and you know if they are on the bill, they'll be playing under the merciful night sky or in the shelter of a massive tent), it makes having endured the heat and stinky sweaty bodies all worthwhile. :)

Agree with Whirly, Coachella is just plain awesome.

And just because, I feel I need to talk a little more about camping. As someone who has experienced on-site camping for the first time this year, I was stunned how pleasant it was. (Ok, maybe this only counts for the younger folk :P ) I too was a doubter of the aspect of camping in the middle of desert. But for the price and the convenience, you just cant beat it. The only downfalls are waking up to the blazing sun and the hellish condition/smell of the port-a-potties. However, both of these downfalls can be countered if planned properly.

As for Fatboy this year...

Other then his flawless mechanics, I just dont see what separates him between every other active party DJ out there ( especially the numerous DJ's that played before him that day.) Sure he has a more presentable show then the average DJ, especially with his huge video screen he has. But it's nothing to write home about. Maybe I've just grown tired of his whole schtick. Or maybe I was still in awwww of the set Richard D James put on a few hours before Fatboy. I dont know...

This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.
