Whoa! What madness in here in just a few hrs I finally decide to sleep.

Guys it's like this - there are some people who are around on the boards for ages, and we know each other and can basically trust it each other. I'm not saying someone new who pops in may not be as much a fan, but it's basically about trust. We've had the album for a week now and not one of us has leaked it to an assole where it's landed up on the internet. That's quite a fucking feat in today's world where the internet's like fucking wildfire. So we've been good - and am sure Ed n Tom will appreciate that. I was sure that the album would be on the torrent sites the moment we got it, but damn, i've been checking everyday, and I'm proud we've done a great job.

You folks may be fans too, but we can't trust u, the kinda trust this requires, so please either find it outside or wait till it actually leaks (I'm hoping none of us will do that, ensure it stays with very trusted folks who we think really deserve it).

Bottomline - u may deserve it, but u'r not trusted. If a profunk or a sneaker wanted it, he'd have it in 2 seconds. That's the way it works, so stop pissing all over the boards!

Let's get back on topic - I came looking on the board for slipvin's "review", but got lost in this mire of shit. Repost slipvin, I can't wait to have some more real ole time fun! ;)

And yeah, the whiners - the album fucking rocks! All the more reason we're guarding it so tight - Ed n Tom deserve to sell this. I think it's many steps away from PTB too, and it should break many new audiences. Sadly will also bring too many jokers onto the boards, only a few of which would be quality and stay.

So now that the album's postponed, all u folks who are not hearing it as a resolution, are still sticking to u'r guns? Hats off to you! I'm more like stash, would have loved to wait, but had no fucking choice - I needed my shot when I was shown it!

Ok so since we are free to discuss it, let's do a track per track review :

No path to follow : just a simple intro. I think it wasn't necessary at all...

We are the night : I spotted on the first listening the synth taken from TSU, and then the track begins... It's psychedelic, it reminds me of The Doors, it's really really a masterpiece ! Pure genius, thanks a lot Tom & Ed for that !

All rights reserved : It sounds good, like a Klaxons track, but better !

Saturate : A short version of EBW8, always as good !

Do it Again : the album version is the better, it's smooth, really well integrated in the album

Das Spiegel : the weird sounds are... weird. The synths and beats are really good but the sounds added to that make the song a bit less better...

The Salmon Dance : 5 stars hip hop song ! The beats are simple yet catchy, the synth riff gives me goosebumps, the lyrics are so lol, I love it !

Burst Generator : an epic song again ! What a song what a song ! This snare roll is awesome !

A modern midnight conversation : it sounds very vintage, I'm not really fan, yet it's good. I love the bass, it's got a block rockin beats style.

Battle Scars : the best collab on the album, I love it a lot.

Harpoons : that's too bad it's so short, those 2 minutes are great !

The pills won't help you now : very beautiful song, it ends a bit brutally, but I love it a lot too !

So overall, I think this album is a masterpiece, I really think it's my favourite album... Good job Tom & Ed, see you in Paris !

Some people have the album. It doesnt matter how we got it. Fact is - downloading is not cool , but i did it anyway , cause i'm weak.

And now i deleted it cause i felt guilty. But mate - i support Tom and Ed in every way. It think that is something that should not be forgotten.

Offcourse die hard fans share that amongst themselves. Two faced ? maybe. But if it wasn't for some of those two faced people the board would probably be full off links already.

Some people want to wait out till the release. I respect that big time. I think its wicked. But well some of us didnt. Respect that to.

In the end we all love the Chemical Brothers music - so can we please stop this fucking debate and talk about the album ?!

Jeez every topic can be turned negative. Fuck all the haters - all the newbs who want to have the album - lets PLEASE ignore them and talk about the amazing album.

I don't think I agree with the fact that the intro was not necessary - maybe because we all got fooled into believing there'r 12 tracks?;) I LOVE the intro - it sets the stage, and the way it goes into the MIGHTY MIGHTY We Are The Night! I hope the Chems spice/ tweak this intro and use it to start the live set with We Are The Night - I can't believe what people are gonna feel!

I think the intro is absolutely necessary. It brings in the listener, it's like a door is slowly being opened to the album. It's the door that opens from reality to the phantasmic beyond. It's ominous, it's dark, it's almost trepidatious... And it helps tie things up later on. I dig it.

The Intro. Ah i have to psot at work about it !!!

The intro is like the nervous feeling in youre stomach you feel before u have a big nite out. Like whenever i go clubbing , i am a bit nervous but a GOOD kind of nervousness. This song is like sitting in the bus to the center for a good night out. Or waiting for the E to kick in. Its nervous anticipation for something great that is about to happen.

I'm not sure yet if i can say this , because ive only heard the album about 4 times , and i need to let it sink in when i listen to it agaon on the release date. But out of all the Chems albums , this one has blown me away most at first listen.

This MIGHT be their best album yet. Imo.

Maybe we should just delete this whole topic to avoid people asking for the album. And not to piss off more people. And all delete the album from our computer and act like it all never happend!!!
