Lineup for the Summadayze/Summafieldayze just go released. Chemies are at the top of the bill for a DJ set. Anyone heard any word on sideshow dj sets?

I said the same thing few years ago!
I'm certainly glad that you and Kwiddle are going to see the DJ version of T&E, but DJ sets these days are getting headliner status over some live acts, and so far, the Chems are putting on some choice cuts as of lately!

Seeing a Chems DJ set was on the bucket list, and I thought I might have to travel OS to see it, so this is awesome. And at a NYE festival, what a way to welcome 2013.
I am still anxiously awaiting the next Live tour though.

You're in for a treat with the DJ set. Their live shows are fantastic, for sure. However their DJ sets are something special. They admitted in the past they aren't the most technically flawless dj's- but to me they have a way with reading and working a crowd and playing into that with the tunes they select. It is uniquely chemical and helps make them really good at what they do. Especially if they drop a new tune. Just glance at them and see their mannerisms change, the glint as they scan the crowd, feeling for a response. It's fun! And man oh man, to ring in the new year with one of their legendary NYE sets. How awesome!!

Yea I'm still excited about the DJ set, couldn't think of a better band to see to bring in the new year.
hahaha now me and about 20 of my friends are heading to shore thing at bondi.

Hey Krisp!, yeah it is possible, they've been doing it for a little while now (travelling artists interstate on the same day to do another set (at a different time obviously)). I guess its getting more mileage out of them whilst there all the way down here in OZ for the limited time they can be down here. Just cross your fingers that they will be counting in the new year in Sydney for you. That would be an amazing start to the year!

Yep, fingers are crossed. Shore Thing at Bondi doesn't start till 8pm so I am hopeful.
