This forum is becoming quiet, and boring. All I have to say at the moment is that who ever is bored, and has nothing to do, go and find some Boards of Canada. They are from Ireland and were inspired by Canadian educational films. They make wonderfully harmonious music with very good beats and sounds. They are well worth checking out :P
Thats all I got to type.

listen thor mate the reason this forum may be quiet and boring but this may well be due to the banal and uninteresting responses you and some others give to postings..the music of boads of canada yeah it can be pretty but this is a chems forum..i've been on a one man mission to post points for discussion and this is what i get back
thor you have forced my retirement ill leave to you quiet forum and go and listen to the chems x

master p, you've only just arrived here! :( Hopefully your retirement is only temporary, your questions resurrected this from a slump and you seem cool.
I think at this point in the game (since it's so slow in the Chemical world and there hasn't been anything new musically to get the juices and conversation flowing) some people are posting for the sake of posting to let each other know they're alive and still stopping by! Not on topic but not a bad thing either - maybe when more people register here, it will warrant a no holds barred type forum where people can post about anything, bitch and moan, rant and rave, whatever to spare the other forums from being hammered by off topic threads. Even though I could talk about the music all day if provoked (and you *don't* want to do that or else you'd all be complaining about that whirlygirl and her ridiculously long posts and stories) it's nice to see some variety and try to find some common bonds with people who all came here for the same reason I did.
By the way, Boards of Canada is perfect for the rainy day I'm having. ;)

Hey there!
It's so excellent to see/read another Boards fan! I'm a massive appreciator of their stuff too. Going out and getting their albums really is one of the best things people could do if they are board.
What part of the spaceball are you from? It middle of the uk for me.
Just to correct you slightly, don't be offended, but Boards are from nothern Scotland and record from a self-constructed studio up their called 'Turquiose Hexagon Sun'. I still have the monstrous desire to see them live and I missed them at All Tomorrow's Parties a couple of years ago. They're a bit elusive.
Anyway, they've been a massive inspiration to me with my own artistic endeavours so check out my stuff if you want + have some time to kill. (see websites below)
Good to message ya,
G
