http://www.theprodig.../guestbook.html check out the third page of this Prod forum thread, some twat thinsk the chems havnt done anything for dance. They seem to love slagging off the chems on there. The Chems are so much better than the prod. You can see it in PTB and AONO.

That's your opinion. Others might think different about this. Hard to appreciate the fact that not everybody likes the Chemical Brothers eh?

I know and its a shame.

I would think Prod fans would have alot of respect for the Chems seeing as they were also involved in the whole revolution of the Big Beat scene. But i guess alot of the Chems stuff is very different to the Prod so thats what turns them off, also alot seem to think Chems have ripped Prod and other bands off.

Loads of people dnt like the Chems and its real shame people cant allways appreciate there music and how its made.

But i agree in the statement that the chems are better in many ways, even if it was a Joke.

Don't get me wrong I think the Prod are great, they have done some brilliant stuff and are up there on the great dance acts stage with the chems.

For now: Chems are best in dance music, Prodigy is best in original breakbeat music. A few years ago: Chems was best in breakbeat music, Prodigy was best in dance music. It's simple.

I can't believe that there are people who didn't like last Protigy CD. I think it was outstanding. The layering in the mixes was unbelievable and the energy level was up there. It was a very interesting and inovative album. I am a Chemical Brothers fan, but I'm not going to down Prodigy just b/c of that.

I may seem that I dnt like it, but I think its really cool cd, I love AONO. I think it was one of the best albums of last year. I would love to see them thsi year playing tunes from that album.

I just dnt like Prod thanks finking Chems are inferior when the chems have done so much more towards dance music.

Because it has nothing to do with the songs that they did in 10 years.

Nice one slip im starting to get ur sense of humor more.

I do however rate this album, but still its not the Prod at there best, due to the long gap its kinda as if there a new band estabishing themselves again. Now with Keith and Maxim back Im sure another album could be really good after getting back into the live swing of things.

They did BGAT after 5 years, and it still had The Prodigy style, so that thing about the "gap"... :?

What I get when I listen to that album is...

Liam don't wanting to release or do something, but well, you have to keep your fans happy... so lets make a new album.

Lets see what happens if I throw this here... kinda ok, lets add this... fits... arggggggg... I'm bored, this track is done, time to go to the next track.

I've seen them live already, playing the new songs, and you can notice a BIG difference when they play AONO's song and older songs.

When they play AONO's they're all like jumping but there isn't too much energy, but when they play the old songs, they all get crazy.

what im saying is that it had been ages since they had made anything before AONO except Babys got a temper, therefore due to non regular music production with each other they have lost a bit of what they had.

Now there fully back together and making new music with Kieth and Maxim involved I think another album if they do would really put them back on form in terms of making music.

Can you not see what im getting at?

This is excactly the mistake everyone is making. BGAT isn't Prodigy-style, it's TFOTL-style. I think you became a fan when Firestarter was released. So I understand your view and why you don't like AONO.

And I am thankful for that. Not to dis you but Prodigy is becoming a smaller band, back to the fanbase who were there when One love was released.

AONO has definately it's moments but what pisses me a bit off is that there are so much better versions of the songs available on singles and this new version of Spitfire is what the album version should have been (shorter, more edgier and more layered )

Clickey for the new Spitfire video !!!

BGAT not Prodigy style?

Then Their Law isn't Prodigy's style, just as an example, Poison should be in FOTL.

They kept their "rocker" style and every album had lots of sounds and a good mix of them.

Tell a Prodigy's fan MFJG isn't Prodigy's style.

And no, I became a fan when I heard everything, I've all the albums, all the singles, all the videos, all their remixes, rarities and live concerts, I do also have Electronic Punks on my desk.

The Fat of the Land was the first album I heard, but I kept getting their stuff and I can tell you that I love What Evil Lurks or Android as I love BGAT

If You herd first LOTLF that You for sure hated Experience album and maybe Jilted. But You just accepted this albums with a bit of time. Now You don't like AONO because this dont remind You earlier works of Prodigy, but for some time You will like it. It's just a mechamism of working of every fan :) Believe me. ;)

I don't know why you're so sure that I hated Experience when I first listened to it. :?

I don't "accept" albums, I either like it or not, I'm not the one that says "I'm a X's fan, I have to find something to love/like this album".

I listened Experience and MFJG and I liked them, I didn't push myself to accept them.

You don't understand my point. I am not saying that you're not a fan. But a lot of people became fans of the Prodigy when Firestarter and later TFOTL were released. If you liked the Prodigy from that time you haven't grown with the band.

Experience was, and still is, the best album of the rave/house/dance (whatever you want to call it) era. When MFTJG was released, it was a huge step for the Prodigy and for music in general. It was the first time dance flirted (well Prodigy fucked with it) with rock. Hence Their Law and Voodoo People. Poison was made because Liam has always been a hip-hop fan. Then TFOTL was released which has the feel of a rock album. The reason for that is it's really a live-album. It was written to be played live. And they did on lots of festivals. So that's why a lot of people got into them. And now with AONO they're back to their MFTGJ era. Just lots of sampling and fucking around with sounds.

I've been a fan since Everybody in the place was released and have grown musicly with them. So AONO isn't a total let down after TFOTL because I have experienced the changes the music have gone through and not hearing it after TFOTL.

That's why I said my earlier response wasn't a dis to you, and that I can understand you don't like AONO. BUT BGAT isn't more Prodigy style then Charly or Phoenix!
