"Yes, I know, I could have sent a card. I could have found something cheesy to make you laugh, something prescribed to warm your heart, but most likely the gesture would fail; and although you would appreciate it because it was done for you, inevitably it would be someone else's words, written with generalities in a tailored attempt at specifics, trying to describe the depth and openness of my love for you. Nothing could come close to that, so I felt like I needed to tell you myself, with my own words, that your love for me makes me feel more free than any other energy on this Earth, and in turn giving my love to you makes me feel more purpose than I ever could have imagined..."

yeah, I suppose manpon isn't the most unique concept around. eh well, back to the drawing board.
I definitely dig the idea of random valentine's days. You know, the idea where you surprise your loved one, usually after a decent paycheck, with flowers, dinner, etc on a random day of the week. No law stating VD can't be on April 9th or July 22nd. Plus when you buy flowers on days like those, they'll be cheaper and you'll have a better chance of getting nice ones. Cheers to spontaneity .

Happy Veneral Disease, kiddos! Hope you all get some good lovin' on this day. ;)
Really - happy Valentine's. It may be commercial and trite but any holiday that's meant to celebrate love can't be all bad, can it?
Plus, everyone needs a guilt-free excuse to eat candy.
