So I heard Pete Tong talking to Tom Chemical about "seeing the live @ Trafalgar square video" and that got me thinking. Is there an official live video recordeing of the free gig at trafalgar square? And if so where can we find it? through Google I found this which is pretty amazing. Anyone else with more??

Hey Josh, I don't know if there's a whole recorded vid of that show, never heard of one. But there was this little video above plus an short interview before the gig. Dunno if they allowed much more to be recorded.

A curiosity about Hold Tight London is always I hear the starting Silver Drizzle noises I whish HTL was being played next. Love that noise which pitches up and that femal voice is arising. It's so damn huge live.

They did show part of the gig on channel 4 back around september as part of becks fusion program. It was on for about an hour (with adverts) but it was slightly spolied by the fact you had to sit through calvin harris again.... it was almost as painful as watching him perform live at the event.

I vividly remember seeing the camera sweeping over the audience from my vantage point further back because it was mounted on the most enormous camera arm I have ever seen...

Think they stopped filming after HGHB though....

I don't know if it helps any and I don't have a lot of time to thumb through past threads or Google right now - but there was someone named chris242 who posted all of the Trafalgar Square footage here a few months ago. I think he has a youtube account under the same nic of chris242 so you might want to search there. He might have a myspaz account too, but I don't know for sure but I *do* remember he was the one who had the Traf viddy goods.

Here is a torrent for the video:

It's pretty cool!

Also, I'm desperate so I hijack this thread. I was just about to order tickets for the Olympia show from seetickets.com, just to find out that they were sold out! So, if anyone has tickets to sell, It would be very much appreciated.

Ah, hell yes! Now I remember. Have this one too. It has just 2 more tracks because its interrupted by some other bands that were playing there.

It features:

Saturate

Believe

Hold Tight

and Leave Home /Block Rockin Beats

But thats one of the few vids where can look over the brothers shoulders seeeing all the glorious gear.

I remeber mentioning about the surrealness of realizing silver drizzle morphed into HTL back a while ago as you did Csar. I'm also realizing that we have heard silver drizzle since back in PTB tour days. It could have been earlier but i don't recall any other tracks from farthr back with the silver drizzle intro. As for the vids. HTL in London is one of those ethereal vids that many of us love round here.

You can actualy see Quentin Tarantino in the crowd on that video. A friend spotted him when we last watched it, and I forgot to tell about it here.

great video, on the mixingbowl I think. I showed that to some now chemical fans, does a great job at capturing the essence of the show. so high quality of that one is essential
