Ok - so I found 1 remix Eric Prydz did: Pet Shop Boys (Miracles) and proceeded to find other stuff of his and oh my god - I fregin love it. I havnt heard music this jackin since Daft or Basement Jaxx.
I also recently fell in love with Mylo.
Can anyone reccomend more acts that kick as much ass as these 2 guys?

IMO, Eric Prydz sux... Especially Call on me video :? There are so much girls that it looks like a hip hop video...
But i like a lot Mylo, except "Drop the pressure"...
I recommand you to take a look at Vitalic. It sounds a little like Prydz and Mylo, and it's really cool ;)

I have to strongly disagree with you Ben_j. Eric Prydz is a very talented artist. But sometimes, you know, artists have to eat... that's why he came up with Call On Me and its catchy video. Reminds me of Robert Miles or JXL. Anyway, if you throw an ear on his side projects (Pryda, Cirez D) you'll understand what I'm trying to say. Even 'Knockout' or 'Woz Not Woz' are good tracks.
glewis, you should try Shapeshifters' stuff. That's pretty gay. You'll like it.

Call on Me video didn't inspired Believe video. Dom & Nic clearly maked fun of this video (that's why i love so much this video :D )
I thinked, and in fact, i only know Call on Me (which realy piss me off...) and i don't know any other Prydz track. It was the same with Drop the pressure, i did not like it, and when i knew that i was going to see Mylo live, I thought "I have to listen a bit to his stuff before" and then I listened to Destroy Rock & Roll, and it's a real fucking good album :D
So i trust you and i'll try to find out Prydz stuff...

by the way, and still about Call on Me : I've heard that in fact this is NOT Eric Prydz's creation. Someone told me that it was Thomas Bangalter from the Daft Punk which was the author of that and thar the song we ear everywhere is a remix by Eric Prydz. By searching on Soulseek, i've found a lot of "Falcon & Bangalter - Call on Me (Eric Prydz remix)" so is he realy the creator of that song ?

Eric Prydz remix of Alter Ego's Rocker is even better than the original.
And h His call on me vid was an inspiration for the Believe video so that's cool aswel ;-)
OH YEAH THAT REMIX is great!!! i really like prydz work i mean they became very popular with call on me but is just a track and the first time i listened it i like but then it was overplayed so...
Vitalic is a good choice for you it sounds very fresh the album OK COWBOY is very good, if you dont want all the album check the song REPAIR MACHINES and la rock, alter ego is also a good choice but is more funky and dirty.

Absolutely not. The 'official' story is that Prydz and his producer mates Retarded Funk worked on a dance track together, and had the idea to sample Steve Winwood's Valerie. Then they managed to give a copy to DJ Falcon during one of his gigs ; the bootleg ended up being one of his most played tracks. The masses wanted to learn more about this floor-killer, and assumed to be the follow-up to Thomas Bangalter & DJ Falcon's 'So Much Love To Give'. That's why you can sometimes find their names on the Prydz tune, on slsk for instance. Meanwhile, Prydz managed to get Steve's clearance for the sample. Steve even re-recorded the vocals. That's how Call On Me officially and legally came out.
...but some say that Prydz isn't as involved in this project as he claims to be. Indeed, the original bootleg would have been made by Retarded Funk, who never managed to get the clearance for the vocals. The track was merely released on white label. But then Prydz came and polished the tune a little bit, which was enough for Steve Winwood to like it and give him the rights. So basically, Prydz didn't do much on this project ; enough however to allow its existence.

Robert Miles?? :o
Anyone seen the video to the Poker Pets track? It takes the piss out of pretty much all the videos which run along the same theme as Call on Me (Out of touch, Benni Benassi Satisfaction etc), average track but funny video.
