Now tell me, are they really that great?
I have been in love with Kid for Today for a long time, it's a perfect track. I downloaded an album to see if they had anything that could match the greatness of that track, so I downloaded The Campfire Headphase. Frankly, i'm not impressed.
One hit wonders? or am I missing some other material by them that is on the same level as Kid for Today?

I've got "Music has the right to children", and it's alright, pretty good. Has highs and lows in terms of song quality. It's hard to describe without calling it IDM, which doesn't really help anyone. I'd say it was quirky ambient stuff, worth checking out. Good bed time music

It depends on which kind of music you like.
I like almost every song they've done.
But it's you, not me, so why don't you just download them, give them a listen, and then if you like it, buy their stuff. ;)
For me, their best song is Everything You Do Is a Balloon, you can find this one in Boc Maxima or Hi Scores.

nothing beats geogaddi. campfire is a step backwards because they didnt want the emphasis of their music to be hidden cryptic messages like geogaddi. too many boc fanboys getting too into the fun quriks of hidden shat.
also, to correct iguana & be an arsehole, its called kid for a day 8)

in my subjective oppinion Boards of Canada are fantastic, some of the best music i've heard in a long time. Campfire Headphase. you should listen this when you're outside looking up at stars around a coosy bonfire. then it'll make sense. but like i said IMO.
Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day
