Being a Canadian football fan, I can say that while it always hurts a little, you do learn to get used to not qualifying. Although, after catching some of the Trinidad and Tobago v. Bahrain match, I think the team I'm on could've qualified out of either CONCACAF or AFC....

Its put me off internataional football now..



I love wathcin the world cup.. but not when your own country hasnt even qaulified for itl.. just makes me feel.. depressed :(



Cause back in 02, when ireland needed a draw to go through against germany.



Our whole school were watchin it in our hall on big screen.. and when they scored everyone went ballistic.. and it was like a big mosh pit cause it was in such a small area.. People were grabbin randomers and kissin them and stuff



And it was only to level it all up to 1-1 too :P But the whole hall had just been waiting for Ireland to get a goal.. with that we were happy :)
