I had to -not- think about it as I was falling asleep last night. Because, seriously, if I had started to get the idea that it was only five days away, I would have been up for another hour, at least.
I'm absolutely fucking ecstatic to the point of disbelief. In fact, I don't even think my mind has fully grasped the idea that I'm going to be in fucking London watching The Chemical Brothers yet.
HOLY SHIT!!!

No unluck for you: superstitions are only as powerful as you give them credit.
Make it your lucky number! ;-)
And there's a lot of energy going into this show. There definitely is going to be something remarkable about it. For me, it's the fact that the first album of theirs that I purchased was Surrender. I remember looking at the cover and thinking to myself, "I don't get it..." But it wasn't as though I felt baffled, it was more of an anxious curiosity. I wanted to understand, to get a sense of why that picture was chosen as the cover of the album.
After seeing the Chems live for the first time, I did, indeed, understand. And while this understanding may differ from person to person, it meant a great deal for me. And now, going to see them perform in that place is like arriving at a starting point, a great loop which I've been traveling for the past decade, only to come to a pause in an amazing moment before it becomes a Q and I shoot off into the future on a different path.

It's weird. I'm not that thrilled or excited at the moment. I probably need to get my feet on that island till I realize it's for real. Still hope they'll be doing something special for that night - at least little longer show would be fine.
Anyways. Can anyboday tell me where this stadium exactly is located? Somewhere near olympia station?

there's definitely a lot of positive energy going into this gig - too much - it's going to be MAMMOTH.
May all of ye have your best chems gig yet!
