I know the feeling all too well!
At work today, I had a customer who wanted to purchase an Echo and the Bunnymen greatest hits type cd. He asked me if, by chance, I knew any of their bigger hits and if they were on the cd he wanted to buy. I rattled a few off the top of my head without looking at the sleeve, and he says, "hmmm. Are you sure? I think Echo and the Bunnymen were before your time." I told him, "no, don't think so - look on the 'greatest hits' sleeve yourself and see if I'm right" - it turns out the know-it-all had his bands mixed up (he was thinking of the Waterboys) and to top it off, he was a year younger than me.
Maybe I just look young. ;)
