This board seems to have become quite cosy. I've been missing out.

But the Chemical Brothers are still there with me and even though from time to time I wonder if I should try to love other musicians as much... it's hard to. So I'm here. However, this board takes some serious dedication, and while I miss reading every single new post every day, I think I honestly should not give it that kind of time! Given that I have about 15000 [good and thoughtful] words due Monday and have had my weekend shut down as such, perhaps you dig that. But my dedication was so strong before that despite probably a year or two of fairly solid inactivity I've still got 2+ percent of all posts and an average of almost 2 per day! I think I'm gonn hang round here more often, I like it here and I owe it to the board, being one of the oldest members and a frequenter of the classy old board (although I've nothing on whirlygirl! you're committed).

okay so...

I'm 17, last year of high school, looking to study math+English primarily after this. Surrounded by music ,writing it. drawing things, writing a novel, and always working on digital graphics art. been dating the same girl for the last 2 and a half years (feel awkward posting that after Dark's thread :P). Selling cheese for my cash (and more and more whoring myself out as a designer).. And likely more but I haven't a clue what.

and where are all you at?
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

GLAKO!!! My favorite cheesy poster!! ;) And more than that, one who comes across as intelligent beyond their age. I thought I saw you in that Single Life thread!!

Hey, it's great to see your name! You are one of the one of the oldest members here and I'm glad you found your way "home". :)

It'll be great to have you back and look forward to your imput. I understand not having as much time to dedicate to the board - I think generally there's been a lull which is to be expected between albums. As for all of us here we are just plugging away and dealing with the ups and downs of the old board.

Glad to hear things are going well with your creative endeavors at school and that you are surrounding yourself with art. And good for you for keeping your relationship with the same girl going for 2 years!

Welcome back, man!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

GLAKO, there can never be too many Canadians on the board!!!

Welcome back!

Good luck with the writing this weekend and please stick around, we're desperate for bodies!

Me, I'm just chillin' and illin' and enjoying my last weekend before December exams. As you've found, my girlfriend and I broke up after nearly six years and it's for the best. But, as young as you are, 2.5 years is still a pretty good haul. I was 17 when we got together and although it didn't work out, it doesn't mean that things can't work out from a young age. Best of luck. I really think getting serious relationships out of the way at a young age is great experience and matures you up the right way. You can always be single when you're my age (23) and enjoy it, (or hopefully things work out) but when you're expected to be mature and relationshippy at my age and have just been previously messing around, it can be hard to learn. So I think you're probably on the right track. Again, best of luck!

(And I remember passing you and Thor to become the top-posting Canadian. heh. Quel achievement! X-D )

Howdy Glako Fahn,

I believe this is the first time we crossed paths properly, so nice to meet ya! I've been a nuisance on the board for about a year and half now and have probably spent more time on this site then I should. Im patiently waiting for the new release of Chemical 6 aka "jerk the chicken". Heading out to the Coachella Festival in the new year, and crossing my fingers that the Chemical Brothers show up. Other then that, still dont know what I wanna do as a career. Been wanting to get involved with DJing but its a little too exspensive of a hobby at the moment, not to mention inconvenient. I have a passion for traveling, even though i dont get to go to alot of places (never been out of the states). Turning 21 this upcomming april, which should be a monkey off my back when it comes to clubs/bars. Anywho, welcome back, and hope you continue to stay on the board more often so i can begin to ridicule you just like the others. :)

It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when the 'original' few board members show up again. Some have stayed throughout, but a lot of the regular posters from a few years ago have vanished - it's wicked when they make their way back though.

Welcome back man! :D

anTypes on the pull X-D (tell her that her eyes sparkle like a drop of semen in toilet water as the sunlight shines in through the frosted glass).

Glak0. Nice to see you, to see you, nice. If I ever get rich i'm coming over to beat you with a bread stick. Although, these days I can't eat bread :'( I realise beating you with a bread stick isn't eating it, but I know when I draw blood it's going to look like pizza bread I wont be able to resist.

erm, yeh he might have picked the tunes, but the psychonaughts mixed the album, because lavelle has no talent. i was talking with mchebne abut this very mix last night after the gig, and there was a big furore at the time, coz he claimed that he mixed it then he had to backtrack and admit that the psychonaughts did it for him.

Just a little off-topic drag here:

Anyone knows what's up with the psychonauts these days? Have they done any original material since "songs for creatures"? I'd really like to hear more of that!
