there near festival place, just have a gooses all round town really, theres plenty knocking about - though i have to say I scaveneged there with m'chebne probably at least twice a week for at least a year and believe me most of the time there is absoulutely feck all, just james last albums and 'listen in stereo' big band things - i think m'chebnes JBO find is probably the find of a lifetime, which makes all those days spent looking worthwhile!!

there's def nuggets to be found it just means going in to each shop 3 times a week and finding feck all for a month and then you get a beast of a find...

I've found loads of old hip-hop, old breaks bits, wicked old moog records, loads of disco, soul, jazz...that kinda thing....

I love it - you never know what you're going to find....

kash?

not really, at an average of 75p - 1 a pop it's more about patience and taking the odd 75p risk......bear in mind I buy tunes to sample as well as play out or simply enjoy

I'll risk buying something that might be genius for 75p - if it's not then I can give it back to a charity shop or take it to the vinly exchange...

I paid for 25p for Q "the voice of q" which is a wicked old disco/italo/proto-house thing simply cus it looked interesting........but 6 out of 10 times I just buy old bobbins!!!!....ash tray anyone?

I'd def suggest going to your local charity shop - it'll be full of geoff love & his orchestra/matovani/bert kamphaert etc but there'll also be some really good/cheap music there.....

dig digger
