My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

Bloc Party - A Weekend in the City

Chemical Brothers - We Are The Night

Justice - +

LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver

..... I didn't really buy many albums this year, that's about all I can really think of. Still haven't gotten the SMD disc along with a few others I'm interested in though.

Chemical Brothers, The - We Are The Night

Cloud Cult - The Meaning of 8

Daft Punk - Alive 2007

Digitalism - Idealistic

Justice - +

M.I.A. - Kala

Peter Bjorn and John - Writer's Block

Thats all of the 2007 albums I can think of right now. I'm not sure Daft Punk's counts, since it could be considered a compilation of sorts.

UNKLE - War Stories

Underworld - Oblivion With Bells

GusGus - Forever (GusGus is still excellent in 2007, only in a slightly different way)

and one of the best songs i've heard this year are:

Cortney Tidwell - Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up (Ewan Pearson Remix)

Junior Boys - In The Morning (Hot Chip Remix)

had awesome experiences with these 2 tracks! check them.

Den_B - I was disappointed by Forever. I used to like the ethereal, chilled out stuff they did on Attention and Polydistortion (although more so on the latter) but on Forever they've replaced it with very repetitive acid/electro house which is ok but not when every song is about 8mins long!! Also it took them 5 years to come up with it, and on the bonus disc they justified it by saying that "when God created the world he took his time" - how pretentious!!
