So enough with the 2007 topics. I'm tired with that year now (except for anything chemical). Anybody got any tips for albums in 2008 ?

The only one's I can think of at the moment are......

Christian Prommer's Drumlesson - Drumlesson Vol.1

which gets a full release on Jan. 28, including us North Americans, not just the europeans who supposedly got it back in october. It's a 2008 release to me.

Cadence weapon -Afterparty babies

love the local boys (I wanna throw down an E-Town reference but I'd just feel so wigger) first release.

supposed Evil Nine album

New coldplay.....for about the first week before it's overplayed

-There is rumor of a new Primus album

-Chems 3rd single?

-Meatbeat Manifesto: Autoimmune / Autoimµne

Automimmune will be released in the US & Canada by Metropolis Records on April 8, 2008. The European version, Autoimµne will be released Planet µ on April 7. The Planet µ version is a 10 track 'cherry-picked' version of the 26 track US version but available on LP in addition to the CD. There is also one exclusive track which will not be on the Metropolis version. "Lonely Soldier," the first single from the album will be out on February 18th through Planet µ as both a vinyl 12" and digital download. Additionally, MBM are in the planning stages for a US & Canada tour to run from mid-April to mid-May with European dates to follow immediately thereafter.

We will have artwork and sound samples as soon as they're available. For now, all we know is that Rich Borge is back doing the artwork on this one.

-The new Prodigy album?

- And i've heard rumors of a new MSTRKRFT album.

yah I know there is the other prodigy thread going around. That shoud have some interesting developments.

MSTRKRFT I'm not as excited for compared to when they first came out after they called it quits with DFA 1979.

Meat Beat should be interesting. When was the last album they released?

lol I meant albums, but movies is a tottaly different story. I actually am looking to this years movie season with anticipation. 2007 wasn't that great in my mind for movies. I felt like the only one who had no interest in transformers last year. This year though...

Be Kind Rewind (MICHEL GONDRY!!)

Iron Man

Indiana Jones

Speed Racer (YAHH!! OLD ANIME)

Star Trek

yah I'm actually liking the big films this year

Um, I wish you had forgotton Iron Man. Have you seen the trailer? That looks like one really bad film! 2007 was great for film, take it back.

Music wise, I'm looking forward to what Nirvana are going to put out.

portishead?

He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I can't take back my comments for 2007 film. It already happend.

And I forgot about Batman too, good on you for remebering.

Sweeny Todd came out here in NA just before the New Year so that's a debate if it's truly a 2008 film (Disturbingly awesome though)

Back to music lines....

Portishead. Cool! more down beat for the masses. April!

It's funny that I never saw 'Nirvana' but since Cobains death everyone closely associated with Nirvana (Grohl, Love, Novoselic) I've seen perform in one form or another (Novoselic was a speech)

I remember hearing an interview with Svein from Royksopp on Pete Tong's show last year (I think it was the same show as when 'premiered' Do it Again) and he reckoned a new album would be out in Autumn (07) - no release then so probably this year??
