was some one on this forum saying that the chems cat no.s never incl the number 3??

Well my gatefold cd copy of loops of fury has the cat no; CHEMSD3 (!)

Is there exist the CHEMSD3 single in standard slimpack (non-gatefold)????I'am looking for this item very hard, but i can't get it.

I think I was the one who said that there isn't a 13 release. IBIA is CHEMSD12 which is followed by SG CHEMSD14. That's it

Sorry for being dumb, but what's the point in catalog numbers?

Is there somewhere you can type in a number, and find out what the catalog number corresponds to? Or is for internal record company purposes only?

You have right. Catalog numbers are for internal purposes only. The catalog numbers help keeping the order in milions of albums they released. Without numbers thet could be....boooooring and imposible :)

For Anal Collectors to say "Oh ooooo uber rare issue of Block Rockin' Beats with cat number XPDUST 3X(lu51v3" I only have the one with the normal cat number! and then the money wasting begins.
