6 Ceramix - Can U Dance

Ah man, I love this one. Disco-y, with an almost but not quite Moroder-like sensibility. Breaks down to a mad siren before a stuttering, chopped-up synth + bass leads us back into the main riff. Reminds me a bit of 'Discopolis', which I also love.

Uffie - Pop the Glock

Uffie - Ready to Uff

Okay, so she might be a foul-mouthed, egomaniacal, not-as-attractive-as-she-thinks-she-is, one-trick pony.... but damn if these two tunes don't have a rough and ready sexuality that makes me want to get it on with a dirty girl on the dancefloor.

I'm ready to uff.

Royksopp - Only This Moment (Alan Braxe and Fred Falke mix)

So filtered, so French. So good. A little over a year old, but still a great track. That oscillating riff giving way to rising synthetic strings. The chorus, a breathy, whispered, sultry affair. The filtered bassline. Ooh, it makes me want to eat some brie and a baguette.

you might chuckle but norms actually a really good, tight dj!! straight up, ive heard him pull off some incredible mixes....

Not that this is an example of technical excellence, but I really like the "Right Here, Right Now" acapella over Born Slippy. Works good it does.

The Rapture - Pieces of the People We Love (album)

So infectious. A great album in the funky post-punk vein. Matt Safer is a terrific bassist.

He really chooses great things to mix with eachother yes i ahve to agree. I am talking about the technical bit. Maybe i just heard the wrong live sets X-D I mean i'm not saying he's bad , not at all. I just dont think he has amaaaaaazing dj skills. In terms of the technical part.

You said it. A trashy bitch of the A+ kind. She can pop my glock any day. And I don't really know why. It's the whole Lolita + Courtney Love + electro thing, I guess. She'll be topless on the witness stand in court within a few years.

Good interview, though. Thanks.

Great album. I think I recognise a sample from Under the Influence on the track 5...
