greetings chem fans...what's goin' on?
I'm a relatively new chemical brothers listener...
I gotta question about one of the songs on the Singles DVD.
Ever watch the private reels section? what's that awesome slow tempo song playing in the background?
Hope someone can fill me in....

I loved the Private Reels segment, too. I know I said this in another thread, but what I liked about the Reels portion is that it offered a candid look behind the scenes when they were still innocent and still virtually unknown. Loved the parts where they're walking around that parking lot promoting themselves - imagine that nowadays!

the scary thing about the private reels is how young the brothers look!! and then i think how we all look a lot older of the years!! life is just racing along.
Tell me about it! X-D

Have you been drinking tonight sneaks?
funnily enough i did write that after i got home from the pub!!! you don't know what a head fuck growing old is. we were talking about how every one down the pub didn't look old enough to drink. i think the older you get the more obsessed you get with age

I think 30 is a big hurdle to get over. For me it was more an emotional thing, I felt like old age was right around the corner waiting to pull the rug of youth and vitality right out from underneath me! I work with a young crowd, and it seems like they're hiring them younger and younger these days and then reality hits, I'm just getting older! ;)
The good news is, the shock from turning 30 is something you get over and you just roll with it and brace for the big 4-0. I think there are great things that come getting older - you've experienced more, been around the block a few times, become more rounded of course this counters the senility, blindness, deafness, knees cracking in the morning when you get out of bed, etc. etc. ;) It's all a part of the territory I guess!

If you read these stories when listening to sad music (which I am), it's really quite emotional. I apparently have a baby face and have trouble getting into clubs, and i'm 20 ffs. I suppose it's a good thing, when i'm 30 i'll look like i'm 20 and i'll be able to pray on all the young girls *breaths heavily*
hahahaha, jus jokes : P
