It's the mid nineties all over again!!!

But yeah, the festival is an alternative rock fan's dream come true.

Already have my tickets. However, straight after the festival I'm hauling ass to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to catch Radiohead again. (just scored some tickets through W.A.S.T.E. this morning, and actually I have 2 extra if anyone should be interested)

But Darkstar, if your coming this way, let me know I'll set you up :)

but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

Here is some negatives about Lollapalooza just to forewarn you newbs that might go:

- Festival ends at 10PM each night. This means the headlining acts are the only performances that are in the dark. (However there is several after-parties after the festival on each night, sprawled across the city)

- Conflicts. Particularly the top Headlining bands. If you're looking to see Radiohead, Rage, and NIN, you'll probably have to sacrifice seeing Wilco, Kanye West, or The Raconteurs. Expect to see something like this when they release the schedule:

Friday ~ AT&T stage= Radiohead |both at 8:30pm-10pm| Budweiser stage= Kanye West

Saturday ~ AT&T stage= RAGE |both at 8:30pm-10pm| Budweiser stage= Wilco

Sunday ~ AT&T stage= NIN |both at 8:30pm-10pm| Budweiser stage= The Raconteurs

Early ending time is not a problem. As you say, afterparties abound.

And conflicts are a part of any festival. If I get to see two of Rage, Radiohead, Kanye, NIN, I'll be happy. And Kanye and NIN are coming here anyways (though Kanye is sold out).

Ending a festival at 10:00... wow...

Are they going to have Twister there, too?

I dont know why I'm bumping this tread to say this, (but I did mention it in the thread before) but WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I just got my seat confirmation on my tickets to Radiohead in Ohio and they are pretty fucking awesome. I'm not 100% sure on going, but the fact that they are centered and pretty fucking close, guarantees I'm gonna turn a pretty sweet profit if I do sell them! :)

"I'm going to have sex with Uffie. I shall not be thwarted." (Darkstarexodus)

Given the lyrics in her songs, I'm guessing you have a good chance.
