Scary stuff in Virginia there, I haven't read all the details yet, but my thoughts are with the students there and the families of the victims.



On a more positive note, today's exam went really well. I was coming in shooting for a C since this prof's exams are poorly written, poorly marked, I skipped a full month of the class this semester (an unbearable class to attend), I went to sleep at 6:15 AM, and I'm sick.



However, it was actually a really fair exam that tested our knowledge comprehensively without being stupid and obscure like too many of the exams as of late. I think I did respectably, maybe even pull up my grade a bit with a little luck and some generous marking. Certainly better than any of the three midterms in the course. And for a change I actually didn't have an anxiety attack either (I've been bad for that the past year, mostly due to feeling unprepared)... though I realized I had to pee about 5 minutes in.



I'm exhausted and have caught a brutal cold though. Oh well, another exam tomorrow, and the day after, and....

Today's though : 2007 is probably the best year I've known in terms of new CDs

God that stuff in Virginia is horrible.

Horrible horrible. I felt sick when i read it in the paper this morning.

Whirly and I were talking about that shooting last night, and I said, 'I heard the guy who did it was asian' and connor chimes in, 'Yeah, that sounds like something an asian would do!'



Now, he doesn't know what the hell an 'asian' is, nor has he any reason to think that they would shoot people. I was torn between explaining why what he'd said was wrong and laughing my ass off.





Oh god, last night was a good one for Connorisms... he was getting out of the bath, and he had his towel wrapped around his waist. He's got this freckle on his butt-cheek, and he was looking in the mirror, and he goes 'I might go out with just this towel on, so people can see my freckle' and I was like, 'it might not be a good idea to go out in just a towel' and he says, 'Yeah, kids might laugh at me, then you'd have to kill them' and I say 'Buddy, if you go out in just a towel, you can't blame kids for laughing at you'.... then he stops talking for about a minute, and goes, 'You still got my back against the cops though?'



I fell on the floor laughing.

HAHHAHA Oh man i love Connor.

He's so funny. He's the funniest kid.

I cant wait to see him again!

And he can't wait til we have guests! He loves it when we have people over, plus he's got a wee little boy-crush on you, Jeanie! ;)
