After some laborous efforts, my new song of aligned cacophonies is ready!

Soluble (3:36, ~5Mb)

A dialup-friendly sample (0:11, ~0.3Mb)

It turned out really cold and I have a flu now so consider yourself warned! ;-)

(all sounds by me, feedback is appreciated)

I quite like it. :)
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Soluble - Soundertow

7/10

Interesting, nice, chilled-out, trippy are some of the adjectives i will use to describe this piece of art. Yes art, here is a guy who knows how to produce a totally original and inspiring track without sounding dated. I like his style....give it a listen it and make yo mama proud. I was listening to this track on real player with all the tripped out visuals..Ah lovely. Its tracks likes these where i can truley say that "Music will trigger some kind of response". and i responded. Those heart warming melodies made me feel nostalgic for some strange reason. Thumbs up for that. That tune and those strings and just superb.Production was top notch. Couple of things that made me give this track a 7 where this track could easily have gotten a 9. Variation & Beats. The track needed some variations. I wanna be brutaly honest here and say i got weary of the track during the end, but i liked the outro, kindda fades away.Another thing, Beats. I love beats man and i am all about that. Soundertow could have produced some more harder beats there. The beats tease but doesn't satisfy completely. Giving it my third listen now...several others to follow.Do yourself a favor guys and download this new track by Soundertow. I am so soluble ;-)

hmm.. I thought it was a 9/10. Doesn't need heavy/hard beats.

you might be right in giving Soluble 9/10 but the beats just bother me. I am so used to hearing heavy drum action that i get ignorant when artists use simple boom kick and stuff like that.

Thank you very much!

The beats didn't turn out exactly like I wanted but I wouldn't have used hard hitting beats here either. Chemicalreaction has obviously been playing too much crystal method :). I have used same sort of setup for my drums for some time now, so I will take a look and see if I can screw them up somehow. I was thinking of creating a rockish track next, so until the next time..

@ csar

The only things that bothers me about "One Flight" is that the bell sound is a bit too loud compared to the rest of the track, and the drums could need some more variation. Their sound is good, but they get too repetitive.

Im working on some rockish tracks, thats what i love the mixing of guitars with electronic stuff. You gotta have the drumkit from hell sample cd for rocky tracks man it just kicks ass :)

Whoa, I am back from the dead. Heh, anyways, ya, a hardcore drumkit would be cool. Either that or just get a regular drum kit but compress the snot out of it, that will get you that rocky, gritty sound.
