One of the two leading newspapers in Argentina (LA NACION) wrote this about the show. I'll copy paste the spanish version and then a full of mistakes translation by myself.

Disillusion in drops

It rained, they played, but they were not heard

It could have been a great night. The Chemical Brothers were in Buenos Aires with an ace in the sleeve: a show of high voltage that proved successfully in their European tour. But no. When Friday last Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons raised the mounted scene in the parking of Pach, Buenos Aires began to become scarce. Still the storm had not begun when "Hey Boy, Hey Girl" gave the initial kick, without good volume, but effective enough. The field was populated with 10,000 souls (nothing else?) that, according to the production of the encounter, paid 70 bucks to meet with the most significant band of international electronic music.

It deserves a new paragraph the excellent visual production of the concert. Then, the lightning on the river confirmed what the Meteorological Service had anticipated: water in abundance. What followed was a bitterer drink still: the sound was diluted until the riddle, sectors VIP became inhabitable and an unexpected interval of technical aid shortened to the false promise of one hour and average of show.

I still can't understand why people complain about the sound. I could hear everything perfectly, and in the second part of the show I wasn't even so near to the stage.

The WIND, for God Saint, THE WIND. I could hear everything perfeclty, Gabo, just like you! But maybe it could be because we were correctly located. I was holding the barriers (haha!), almost in the middle. The wind is what caused that "problem" with the sound. And I'm tired of saying always the same. PEOPLE: READ BEFORE POSTING.

Saludos!

Sorry for the "thread revival", but I wanted to add some things to this.

I wasn't there, so take this just as a comment.

Ticket price:

If it was 70$A (I think it's 25US$), cmon, don't complain!

How many times are these kind of groups going to land on Argentina or how many times are you going to be able to see them?

If they played every 6 months or something like that, it's ok, that's a ripoff, but I think that this was the first time that the Chem Bros touched argentinian ground.

I know Argentina's economical situation, which is very similar to our situation, but that might have been your first and last time you'll see the Chem Bros playing in Argentina (hope not).

The rain:

It was the organization's fault, but I think that the CB should demand some things for theirs sets, so that they know that they are going to be able to have a good show, good sound, and that it will be a complete set.

And I'm not talking about "I want a hotel room with the tub filled with champagne", but to ensure that their show is going to be a high quality show, and a complete one. ;)

The organization, their fault, never trust our weather, and if they already knew that it was going to rain... well, what can I say?

I remember when we organized the 1er Festival Celta de Montevideo, it was a hot and sunny day, no clouds at all. When the sun went down, it started raining, but we had a roof were we all played, so we didn't have any problem, I ended that day with fever because of the rain and cold. :(

CB:

Sounds right that they didn't want to keep playing, but at least they should have spoken to the crow, just explaining what was going on, telling they were sorry and that they liked how the crow was into the show no matter how it was raining.
