playground for a wedgeless firm - wedge in this sence must mean money.

orange wedge - who knows. like you can wedge the door open with a triangle of wood. then i start thinking about orange triangles. like the trivial persuit trianges, or maybe a segment in an orange.

A piece of pie/cake

A golfstick

To stuff or push away

To split

the thin end of the wedge = the (yet unimportant) beginning

Pick one!

A wedge of orange/lemon/lime is the common triangle-shaped piece that is cut for drinks and such.
