Ahah I'm trying to come across some old threads and I didn't remember I had such a gay reputation around here. Stach reacting to my party pics : "you seem to have quite the thing for penis. Not that there's anything wrong with that " Hilarious ! :D

Talking about party pics, do you have the pics from the Coldcut gig we evoked last week ? When I blew a candle, and blew a lot of wax on your clothes at the same time. I had a hard drive problem recently and lost everything.

Listening to "Chemically Imbalanced" right now.

Chrisman!!! The party monster is back, haha!! The Association of Hetero Men Who Find Tom At6tractive, bwah! I remember! It is so good to see you here.

That bullshit thread has a lot of my life in there. And so much of everyone else's who posts bits and pieces in between geeking out on tunes and live shows. It's even a bit like Jeanie's travel journal "oh shit man I laugh so hard at internet cafe in <insert exotic foreign city *here* > just now XD"

As for AnType, he's around but has moved on for the most part - and posts here every once in a great blue moon. His encyclopedic knowledge of all things Chemical was the stuff of legends.

Bosco's review of the forum CD was great. It's amazing how much you all remember that is dusting off the old memories in my head that have been shelved.

Oh, California:

Ahah I came across the post in the Party Pics thread but, obviously, they're not online anymore. I don't remember saving them but I you sent them to me they must be on my old computer at my mom's, I will check it out next time I got to wash my clothes! (Which, regarding the smell I'm emitting right now, should happen rather sooner than later)

Ah yep that comes back to me now, this guy knew EVERYTHING about the Chems. I think he could even say for how long Tom or Ed wore their underwear only by the taste of it.

Oh good lord Party Pics...

My has the world/internet changed since that thread. Some old stuff I rather not dig up from there

Is that really a picture of Slipvin in that thread? Can someone confirm this?

P.S. regarding the Whirly/Stash Christmas gift.... I don't know if we ever told you this Mia, but I created a whole other forum for us to communicate about that project. The result was better than I could have imagined.

To you Chem forum people who participated, you are extremely generous. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Woah, what a topic! I think the main highlights for me have to be the forum meet-ups:

Turnmills NYE 2005/06 - So much fun, met some fantastic people and heard some awesome music (I still tell people now about that very messy game of pool at Mippio's Aunt's house at 5am when I'd been awake about 24 hours lol).

California April 2006 - Well worth a monster lone 20 hour journey or something across the Atlantic, was very special to meet whirlygirl and stash at the other side of the world nearly. Awesome to spend time with forum members again. Josh Wink was awesome at that club in Hollywood which I still forget the name of! Some great "excursions" with Darkstar who was a great friend helping me find that shitty hostel near LA Airport.

Summercase Festival July 2006 - What a lineup that festival had! Me and AcidChildren flew out there first and spent a couple of days looking round Barcelona before Chem'd up, Irishfan and Jeanie arrived. Then it was music by night and sleeping/shopping/hanging out by day.

Unfortunately I had a few moments during these trips which I'm a little embarrassed by nowadays, but mc marsh is much better now and has been for nearly 4 years. Thanks.

Turnmills April 2008 - Another great night at this awesome club, it was was cool to meet old and new members. @iggy do you remember in McDonalds those girls asking us where we came from? We answered them and then they asked "So how do you know each other then?" *silence*

Kensington Olympia August 2008 - Still the best Chems gig I've been to, everything was on such a massive scale, the venue, the screen and of course the music. Maybe slightly irrelevant to this topic but worth a mention I feel as I did briefly meet up with AcidChildren and Chemical_fan Mike. Shame we lost each other before the end of the gig.

Roundhouse May 2010 - A new part of London for me, and eventually met up with some entirely new people, Surface to air Ben, Ben_J and Bouh (sorry if I forgot anyone). Fantastic gig and I still really dig how the Chems played out the Further in full. Was great to hang out with you guys before and after the gig.

Can't think of that many topics at the moment other than the "Forum orgys" although I'm sure there are some that will spring to mind. Maybe because I've not been on here as much since the un-userfriendly WATN board. There is one moment however not mentioned which I still find hilarious:

NYE 2004 (I think) Chem'd up comes on sometime in the afternoon and posts a long list of drinks him and his mates will be drinking in his house that evening (absynthe, Jack Daniels I think to name a few).

11:45pm - something like:

"too much drink, absolutely fucked, off to bed now.

Fuck new year.

Absolute cunt".

HAHAHA! I had forgotten about that. Some ladies asked us how we knew each other and of course I wasn't going to say "from an Internet forum" so I carried on eating my repulsive scrambled eggs or whatever the fuck it was and ignore them.

I kind of wish I could do some more gigs but i'm past it now, can't handle it like I used to. And when I say like I used to, I could never handle it!
