So while the interminable wait for new material rumbles on, i was checking out some new tunes/dj mixes and stumbled on Daniel Avery. He recorded an EP for Phantasy which is awesome, very much in the same acid house spirit as the chems, - particularly drone logic which has a wicked (non-EDM) drop, thought id share (as im getting old i am probably well behind but thought id stick it up anyway haha)
he does a show on rinse fm which can be found on his soundcloud and his fabric mix is pretty boss as well.

Mr Avery is very much on the rise at the moment. His recent guest slot on Rinse FM is worth a listen, and he got the call for a Fabriclive mix cd in 2012. And now a pair of remixes for Primal Scream's new single Invisible City.

As far as I know his debut album has already been mastered. We should get a release date pretty soon. Saw him dj a few weeks ago in paris with chemicalmat. Very good set, he even played Through me

So I saw Mr Avery on Saturday night at probably the smallest club he'll be playing for a long time.
It was amazing some great trippy tunes to start with mixing into lovely acid/techno, definitely see this lad if you can!
