One advice : try to play Wipeout HD with "Escape Velocity" in the zone mode. It feet perfectly ! Great !

amazing idea!!

i normally play the wipeoutXL soundtrack and have the 2097 HUD on. loops of fury, firestarter instrumental as well as daft punk playing whilst your racing... WOW!

with me being a PS3 owner I have just had the delight of playing the new episodes for GTA4. All I can say is wow. The original game on its own got a bit boring, fair enough. I actually left it a year, and then when I heard about the new episodes, decided to revisit and complete. Since Friday when I purchased the episodes, I have been well impressed with GTA. The add ons make me feel like Liberty City was worth the visit no matter what flaws it had. Roll on GTA 5 Posted Image

Thats right, I forgot!

I've still yet to try 'Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars' for the Wii. I really want play as Frank West from 'Dead Rising'. Speaking of which, 'Dead rising 2' is coming late this summer!

Damn, There is a lot of good releases coming this year, now that I think about it.

Defined a little more formally, "escape velocity" is the initial speed required to go from an initial point in a gravitational potential field to infinity with a residual velocity of zero, with all speeds and velocities measured with respect to the field

Just buy the game on DVD. It's worth the money ! The balad of Gay Tony is awesome.

dude, there's no comparing BF:BC2 and MW... they're two completely different animals, barely the same genre. Battlefield is an actual tactical squad based game and MW is a Quake 3 mod, just a twitch game.

I'm afraid it all pales in comparison when you're talking Rainbow Six.

Bosco, u do l4d on the xbox, right? Connors been loving the passing on the PC. And chemd, if you rent battlefield2 lemme know. It's all kinds of awesome.
Iggy, R6 might be fun, but in battlefield, instead of sneaking into a building to take out the bad guys you can just C4 the entire building.

MW2! I'm thinking I want to prestige a second time, but I must get 11 or so more harrier strike kills for the "Harrier Strike" title. I really want to get better playing with "regular" classes. I've been playing with the WA2000 sniper non-stop for some time, and now I'm shit with assault rifles, etc. :-|
But first I need to find the time to even play...

I play the original PS1 WipEout games all the time, WipEout XL is my all time favorite, and I even hold some world records for the game. Personally, I think the quality of WipEout games has had to do with the number of Chemical Brothers tracks in them:

WipEout - 1 (Chemical Beats)
WipEout XL - 2 (Dust Up Beats, Loops Of Fury)
WipEout 3 - 1 (Under The Influence)

WipEout XL was actually what introduced me to the Chemmies, so I owe a lot the game.

Oh, and if anyone here has Metroid Prime, you need to try playing it with Sasha's Airdrawndagger playing in the background. It's epic (especially during Bloodlock).

Metroid Prime's OST is already perfect for the game. It's atmospheric and oppressive :)
But I think that some Amon Tobin tracks could suit perfectly the game too. I made an AMV :

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2. The end of the game is a bit "WTF ?!" but overall, great game, great experience. It makes you want to visit Florence and Venise.
All the buildings seems to be reproduced perfectly, and it's one of the very few rare games that I want to continue after the end to get all of the small optionnal missions and quests.
