If you still possess the capicity to be weirded out by music, you probably shouldn't be listening to Aphex Twin, let alone Autechre or Squarepusher or any of the other wonderful music on the Warp label... X-D

I dunno... I like 'Drukqs' just fine if I listen to isolated bits and pieces but if I sit down and try to listen to the whole thing I get tired... and am reminded of all those rumors that it was a contractual-obligation hard-drive dump and not so much an actual album.



But, '26 RFC' was an instant classic. He's produced a lot of music, and the fact that as much of it is as good as it is is astounding. If only he still gave a crap, but its obvious music hasn't really interested him in quite some time.

With all the experience and amazing musical talents, he should really come out with something new, and genre breaking.



I also heard from someone that the new Matrix movie soundtrack was made by Aphex Twin and Fatboy slim, but this could be for another and only a rumor. Does someone know for sure?
