Don't know 100% of that's a new tune but it's still one of the 'unidentified' tracks after all this time, the chances are likely it could be Chems. We'll just have to wait and hear. I have no doubt the new album will be monstrous! :)

Thanks for posting the vid. That was a fun night. Coachella was one of the few bright spots of my 2009.

Good timing Poot! One of the best memories for 2009!

@Whirls

I always jump to those tracks when i'm playing the Coachella set. It's mostly those 2 and of course the 'Mother Earth' and 'Final Track' finale. And just wait when their new shit goes live next year. Coachella 2010 is just around the corner.

@morning lemon

If you watch closely, i'm the guy in the middle wearing the hat. Had to hide bald spots. :)

@Ryno

Damn! Didn't know promo poster were that big for Cd singles back then. Hooray for foamcore! I have a couple of T and E posters but never made the jump to foam.

Good Xmas btw! Mostly gift cards, which i'm holding on to till the crowd dies down in the stores. Good chilly air in my parts of town.

Ryno I can't believe I missed your post!

Your posters look so awesome! Always loved the Elektrobank art. I bet it's awesome to see it so gigantic.

Hope everyone stays safe and has a fun New Year's Eve! <3

HA!

It wasn't even a fight!

And no, I didn't pay an exuberant amount of money. Actually it was just the opposite.

I'm still laughing!

Your ever growing collection of vinyl. Nice.

I picked up Infusion's new album today--3 out of 5 stars. It has some decent tracks, all of it is really poppy, very 80s sounding. I also picked up M83's Saturday = Youth. Same deal with a few of the tracks on that, but there are also some amazing, epic tracks on it as well, which is par for the course with M83.

In other news, everything is coming together for my law school applications and I should have them in by the middle of the month. :D ! :) ! :D

I did yet another happy dance at Amoeba today! I love it when that happens.

I had been searching for the Chems remix of Mercury Rev Delta Sun Bottleneck Stomp for years now, and I couldn't find the single anywhere here. I never downloaded it, so I hadn't ever heard it (come to think of it, I never thought to ask anyone...) I could have bought it online but I'm a purist when it comes to buying stuff like this in a shop. Because it's like a high, you know? So all the times I left the shops without that single in hand I thought, well it'll turn up eventually. And it did today! All these years later! I was so happy!

My god was this song so worth the wait! The bubbling, percolating, and silvery threads of sound that are in this remix are so deliciously Chemical. So there's another addition to my music collection. Oh, that and I bought the Come With Us single on vinyl.

@ Pooter - Sorry for your loss.

@ Whirly - Cool story. There is nothing quite like owning a physical copy of a song (as compared to an mp3), especially when it is something you've been searching for. Looks like some of inchem's luck is spreading itself around.

Thanks. :)

Now I'm trying to figure out how to use Ableton...

@Whirls: You and I come from an older generation of music lovers... ;-) I have the same feelings.

Good score for you Whirls (Mercury Rev remix..I never saw it there before..my bad vision). I like the feeling when you search and search for so long for a song and you finally find it after all this time. I was there a couple of days ago and I remember CWU being in the bin, as well as BRB Promo, Setting Sun regular and the promo, OOC Sasha remix (with the cool blue vinyl), EPD and WATN. I admit it..I always go to the electro section first and look under 'C'. I try going their at least once every 2 weeks because of the vinyl shifting of old and new. I've been recently going thru alot of Disco lately. OK moving on...

@Pooter

I wish peace and love for the passing away of your friend.

If your learning Ableton, you can get the tutorial videos on the torrents. I can't read books.

@satur8

Ha! The secret is the Lucky Charms, or im a freakin Irish Mexican!

@Biff

Wazzzupppppp!

Wazzzup. Yeah I ALWAYS look under the C-section for something good (ba-dum TSS!). The $1 section once in a while will have a single or something good. Really good leg workout getting in those bargain bins down below.

don't want to create a new topic to ask that, which version of Dust-Up Beats was released ? the one with the female voice singing "linda" (or something like that) or the other one ?

@Maboul59

According to Planet Dust: My Mercury Mouth EP - "Released as "The Dust Brothers", not "The Chemical Brothers". Released on 12" only. The promo originally had a different track in place of "Dust-Up-Beats", with the same name, which was eventually replaced on the official release."

@ the Ableton users, a general question - Do you guys typically use it for mixing, production, or both? tnx
