Yeah is is a little boring. Everyone changes with age, not many people appreciate it being pointed out.

This is a discussion forum and you're within your right to an opinion.... But Ed's mentioned something on his twitter about your post.

You nasty pasty

This is what happens when the Chems don't release an album for years, discussions of weight arise.

Well, to be fair, discussion of the Chems' music is a... weighty subject...

Oh you're not kidding! I'm sure Ed's sense of humour will see him through...
All the best Ed.

Altho I can see it on my phone, I can't see it on my PC when I log into Twitter. I've had this before. Anyone know why that happens?
Means I cant do a quick copy and paste.
We'll have to leave you guessing on that one. Can't be arsed to type it out.

We wanted to wait for Summer Solstice to tell you Ed, but we signed you up for the PerkiSystem.

Happy Belated Ed

This old man,
he play beats,
He don't need no music sheets,
but with a snip-snip-snippy-snip
gave his mop a chop,
Old man hairstyles are a flop.

What's done is done but please let's all be nicer to each other.

I didn't notice any major difference in any recent videos. He looks like our Ed, he seems happy and I think he looks good. Like a fine wine, I say. ;)

May you have the best year ever, Ed!

I remember putting up a selfie here during the H.Bowl concert! When I saw it on the forum I cringed :???:

As far as I know, T and E.... they pretty much take care of themselves!

I saw Ed up close in January, he was looking pretty fit to me.

But things do start to change when we get over 40, I had never been over 70kg, and had perfect vision till I hit 40. The old eyesight has gone through many transitions of needing reading glasses of increasing strength, to now needing glasses all the time. And I started having to watch my weight, not that I've done a great job at that. It all depends on your genetics I guess, some people are lucky.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

From recent youtube videos of dj sets, TOM looks like he's not interested in being there. Even the tracks he played didn't seem to move the crowd with the exception of couple. Like he's bored of the music he was playing. Probably explains the quality of tracks like Nothing by pleasure with its repetitiveness. Tom is not even trying and that's pretty sad to see.

* hopes for more drama

I like how people are trying to justify Ed's weight. Like camera adds 10 pounds...okay then how many cameras were on ED? Look at these videos I'm referring to. Multiple shots from different cameras, some are too close right in the dj booth. People are literally clicking photos and shooting them right in their faces with their stupid iphones. There should be a rule that nobody is allowed that close to the djs. Bros are too nice.

Who urinated in your cheerios today?

If you're going to criticize another man's weight or bag on the Chemical Brother's recent dj performances, fair enough. But in Ed's thread?

Come on. I thought after all your time on this forum you would be better than that.

No, there should be a rule that nobody is allowed to bring Dumbphones to those events.

With a bit of goodwill I'll concede he did had a bad day, twice.

I apologize for talking about this in Ed's birthday thread. I wish him best wishes always. But it literally feels like Tom and Ed have no passion left for the music. Recent tracks on Phantasy are sub-par. Through me is good but not fucking great. Nothing but pleasure is though inspired, very ineffective after the first drop. I've been a believer of chems since forever and now I see them slipping so I feel like I should address it. If we as fans don't care then Chems don't care. If Chems don't care then I'm sorry to say that the future of music is looking very bleek. Are we going to allow the future generation to listen to skrillex? Our kids growing up to listen to trance dubstep ? Is this what we want? NO we don't. I'm not going to listen to chems anymore starting today, until and unless they produce/dj something good. Continue to live in the delusion that chems are making great music and we'll have a "Plookaville" and "human after all" type album coming soon.
