if you're looking at CDJ's go for the pioneer. pretty much industry standard now. the 800's are fine for home use.
the Behringer BCD2000 I have no experience of but I don't fancy mixing on those jog wheels. plus Behringer's build quality is usually pretty shoddy. they are however very good at attracting legal action by copying the designs of their competitors.
depends which way you want to go. if you want to use a lappy you have more options open to you. but I think there are probably better controllers on the market. cdj's are more specific
what about final scratch/traktor etc?

Well, I got that idea when I saw that man looping a track with this behringer mixer on youtube: http://www.youtube.c...related&search= , nothing special I know. I thought it looked quite ok. Well I'm not gonna dj, and with cds not at all ;-), but i thought it would be more handy to have an analog/digital device to loop and mix tracks by hand.

Well you have 2 choices. I used to use a DS-1 on my first synth, a Jx-3p which I regret trading more than anything ever!! It works well on that cause the sound is thing and not too bassy. But for a juno, that's a new story.
I used a electro-harmonix big muff and man that was fuckin fun! They're not too expensive and they get bass better. think the chems might use one, I'll go into more details and "schools of though" later cause this is my favorite thing to do (distortion + poly synths) - but my roommates going out to surf and I need to race the tide as they say

ok I've returned
that sound really cool, that's a good noise you got out of the juno with the distortion. definitly the volume on the juno is key to getting that distortion up or over.
I play guitar and have several distortion pedals, I might try running them through my ms2000 or polysix, my guess is a metalzone followed by a tubescreamer will make a rich sound, that's what i use for guitar, i run a boss bass-synth pedal through it and it sounds soooo sexy, I'll try posting mp3s of my combos tonight or tomorrow

Guys, just to let you know, the BCD is pretty crap. The software that comes with it is pretty buggy, and it uses some weird midi stuff so getting it to work with Traktor properly is never going to happen. You can use it with traktor, but the jog wheels don't work properly. Oh, and the tempo sliders only use 128 values, so it's pretty hard to get stuff perfectly in time. It jumps from like 120.0 to 120.4 in one step!
BCR and BCF on the other had, I've got 2 BCR's and one BCF, and I couldn't do without them (especially live) :D
