Jeez louise, DJFullBlast. Chill out... think about what you're saying and how you're coming across. You've done nothing but gloat in your recent posts about how powerful and great you are, and quite frankly that makes Americans look bad. It's good to have high self esteem but come on. Nobody would be persecuting you if you weren't so damn arrogant. So cut it out!! Please. And please don't go blaming people because they don't know what you're on about. Go back and try to read this thread as an outsider and see if your posts/replies make any sense. You have to admit, they're hard to follow. Now check your own posts and see if they don't come across as either a.) arrogant or b.) insulting to us Chemical Brothers fans. Your assumptions, gloating, and overall ASSHOLE generalizations about all of us are a good way to make every post of yours from here on out disappear.
BTW, I'm a moderator too. Play nice. If you don't want to get personal, talk about the Chemical Brothers, hop in one of the many other existing threads that have to do with the music and get in on discussion.
Thanks -

(For starters)
I want a list of the following definitions copied ten times each on my desk by 7:00 AM tomorrow morning:
There- a location other than here; that place
Their- the possessive form of they
They're- contraction of they are
I also suggest you stop smoking that shit laced with PCP.

What happened to this thread? I was so onboard after reading the first 2 or 3 posts, but after that I just lost touch with the topic.....
Chemical Brothers is pretty much the best sound you can find anywhere. They are the kings of modern music. Not that they pioneered the electronic style, they perfected it. Here in Canada they have a huge following, just come to a concert in Toronto sometime if you want to have a great time.
Canadian's can respect American's, we fight next to them and also provide aid to all other countries during times of war, we like the people who truly believe in their own freedom from slavery, but to be honest there has been some very controversial things circling around all of us, and its time we all wake up and smell the future.
Just Google: "zeitgeist the movie" if you want the big picture.

Man, most of the people posting in this thread and a very large portion of forum members are Americans, including me. We're just making fun of the OP because, well, he's retarded, regardless of nationality.
And the proper plural of "American" is "Americans". Speak the good Queen's English!

voodoo, don't be dissing folks english when you aint got a grasp of the comma!

haha, I hate using proper grammar on the interwebs.... notice the numerous errors ! ;) ;)
voodoo: there are a couple superfluous (rather, inaccurate) and couple omitted commas here and there.
but please don't mind me -- I am an extreme pedant when it comes to grammar, language and can be very irritating or a real prick...
for instance -- one thing that troubles me greatly is the death of the subjunctive in English... so few employ it! and many of the employers do so incorrectly

Were I to employ it more often, would you think better of me?
I'm fairly certain that many aspects of comma use vary according to where you live and who you ask, but they aren't what I worry about so much as faulty diction.
I'm just fucking with n00bs, for the most part. I wouldn't think about correcting any established member's grammar.

hahaha, I know -- noobs are fun to smack around
1. "whoM you ask" ;)
2. "they aren't _that about/over which_ I worry" ;)
3. rules for commas do not vary with geography or personal taste

You do know that I'm not a noob right? Three year forum vet with ~1000 posts on the other account...
1. Got me
2. Sorry, but what I originally said was actually correct. "I'm fairly certain that many aspects of comma use vary according to where you live and who you ask, but they (aspects of comma use. referring to an antecedent in the previous section of a compound sentence is perfectly legitimate, as I've been taught. In this instance, "aspects" is the only plural word in the sentence, waiving the necessecity that the antecedent also be a subject that would occur in more awkward situations) aren't what I worry about (the object of this clause is implicit in it's relative construction. What is a compound relative that IS usuable with a prepositions. Remember that.) so much as faulty diction (is what I worry about[duh])."
3. Yes, they do.
