Wow, not been here for a bit and find all this. Well, shit.
It's a bummer. I was a lurker for long time and then finally plucked up courage to say stuff and post some mixes a coupla years go.
I got some really good feedback and constructive help and really buzzed off the fact that people from all over the planet listened and enjoyed the stuff i put together. So thanks for that.
Doing this really helped get back to being creative musically and am still plodding on with that.
I am happy to join something else but have no idea about that sort of thing and how it should be, leave that to the boffins.

I'm so very confused by the reasoning of this decision. I personally don't care if the configuration of this forum is mobile friendly, or it's too ancient to integrate social media formats. It's fine for what it is. We've always dealt with a quirky and unattended forum, so why change and or eliminate it now?
I can come to terms with losing archived material, but it hurts most knowing that some forum members who have been in deep hibernation, will be forever lost.
:::pours one for the homies:::
And what the hell is this making Whirly the messenger of bad news. Can't administration fucking step up and make an announcement rather than leave a community collectively dangling. Show some professionalism for fucks sake.
making me angry now
