for at least a few weeks. since 2 weeks before the album came out this place has been poulated by fucking cunts with no personalities or love of music, let alone the chems. there are too many pill head kids who love to use fucking smilies and cap locks.

I spoke to antype and emailed the moderator about sticky threads so that new people could see them and get an idea about the forum. Do you guys think this is a good idea?

look it wont happen. i dont think any of the emi community of forums have anything other than a basic forum with an administrator. i know its anoying all the duplicated threads, but we are just hitting a peak at the mo. i'm sure normal service will be resummed soon. i hope it does cos it too busy here at the moment and the content has got dialuted. we are the nearest things to moderators, so lets all keep this place in control

I think you're paying too much attention to a person that you've already said that is stupid/spammer/not a girl/bothering/etc.
As for PTB, what we all should do when a new PTB thread appears is to link that guy/girl to the big PTB thread and that's all, don't start saying things in that thread.

I haven't been hear that long, but I'd agree with whirlygirl on you being a cool member on this board. I hardly ever start threads but instead just resusitate dead ones and put in my stupid knowledge whenever applicable. I haven't been hear for a few days and I've noticed that all the topics on the first page had new posts. That was weird. I figured it was on account of being gone, but I guess it's from tons of people coming here since the new album dropped (like me!)
BTW, i broke the carts on my deck and I can't listen to the new album until I make the order for a new stylus. Talk about pushing the button, eh? The "sucks for you!" button.

I think ACIDCHILDREN is spot on, I think attention should be drawn towards the 'sticky' topics - I normally come here when I'm at work and yesterday there were nearly two pages of new topics!! Most of it was 'new' topics where new people came on saying stuff that had already been said. Its great that lots of people really like Push the button (so do I), but I can't see the point in having 15 topics called 'PTB is fuckin awesome' or whatever.
I'm not having a rant though, I'm a customer service employee so I'm used to people not reading / listening to things properly ;-). (that mainly applies to my job and not you regulars here btw!)
