Yes, I agree Harpoons is better at its position (before TPWHYN) than Snooprah.
Perhaps, they could have included both tracks on WATN, a bit like Daft Punk' Da Funk and Funk Ad on Homework.

Heya Consumer, about those twinkly sounds I mentioned earlier - those sounds were also used when I heard them play Out Of Control at Coachella too.
I can't wait to get home and listen to this again. I want to hear more bits and pieces that you all have mentioned.
Jeanie is always saying what I think before I have a chance to say it. :P I really don't get why people are suggesting "this track should have gone on the album". It seems that every b-side that comes along, there's always got to be this negativity. If Tom and Ed felt it should have gone on the album, then it would have. They are big boys capable of making big boy decisions. ;) Plus on the positive - we've got the bonus of yet another great b-side! Great b-sides that are comparable to the stellar tracks that appear on the albums are a great Chemical tradition. Why can't we all be grateful for what Tom and Ed are willing to share and stop worrying about "would have/could have/should have". Enjoy.

I am so loving this song. Good, so good. Funk-aay.
It's a Chemical trainspotter's dream. It's just jammed with so many familiar Chemical sounds.
I still can't get over the sirens. It's such a rave ringing in my ears! And the way the different little melodies pan back and forth. This is lush!
I can't wait to bring this with me in the car.

IMO this seriously deserves another bump. The texture in Snooprah is slaying me. I am in love with this track. Are my ears playing tricks because I am hearing somewhat distorted piano sounds in here.
On a side note, this whole We Are The Night era, the album - this album's after my heart. I love and appreciate all the keys/piano used.
OK - I will stop gushing now, hahaha!!

Yep yet another grat b-side. The WATN era deffinetly excells in b-sides over the remixes.
I love the funkness in Snooprah. And I like the "what's-this-sound-from?" game ellement they have put in this track. Off course the Harpoons vocals, don't fight control bit, beats and sirens from ARR live, although these sirens sound the same as Freestylers 'Bring the noise' which sampled it from Public Enemy if I'm not mistaken.
Off course this track sould not be on WATN. Harpoons fits beautifully on that no. 11 spot.
Snooprah really sounds Chemical Brothers old style to me. It's has the same feel as Delik or Studio K and Diamond sky, reworks of their own tracks or cool bits and pieces left overs from WATN the melt into a new track.
No Need still holds the #1 spot as favourite b-side
