you sure he didn't say something like, 'interested in boning in that structure?' and you misheard him?

Here's a few recent photos, not all are of the party variety, but here we go...... Keep in mind that the snow levels in any outdoor photos are after a couple weeks of melting already. There's hardly any left by Winnipeg standards!!!

Aftermath of a quiet evening in

My room

The clothing depository aka my leather chair

Ran out of booze

My bedside table

Me, beer, Liverpool on a Saturday afternoon

Idiot friends on the karaoke machine

Part of my front yard.... after most of the snow has thawed

My dirty, dirty car.... she doesn't like it when the roads are so messy

Went to a sculpture garden yesterday for something to do

The river is still frozen... thankfully. Near downtown.

Found a frozen creekbed that led through a few places. Just 5 minutes from downtown Winnipeg.

Naked girl riding a bull: WTF?

A giant menorah

Approaching downtown from the Forks

The popularly known "Dink Bridge" aka Esplanade Louis Riel

Riverside.

Across from downtown

Awww You get nice thick snow that settles and that you can build snowmen and other objects with!

Yeah, and like I say, this is already after at least half of it has melted away. I meant to take pictures at the height of winter to post, but I never got around to it. It can be both beautiful and desolate around here in January and February.

Bwah. Never thought of it like that, 'stash. Everyone here considers it a prominent phallic symbol. It has a restaurant on it with a toilet system that cost $1 million to build to resist the cold and traverse the river.

Phallic symbol? If you got that many wires coming offa your junk, you're into some serious shizzy... I think it looks pretty cool.

Yeah, I like the bridge too, although it was a very controversial project. It links the downtown with the French Quarter.

Now that's a bridge...

Actually, there are taller bridges, but they're not used as roads. I've been on this bridge, the Royal Gorge Bridge, near Canon City, Colorado. It's the world's tallest suspension bridge, at nearly 1100 feet.

The Victoria Falls Bridge in Southern Africa has always fascinated me, this one was built into a cliff face on both sides - how do they build these things?

Thanks. A few of them I took while I was driving, so I'm surprised they turned out as well as they did.

Hardly party pics, but this is what I've been looking at, with very little variation since Wednesday afternoon. I have spent probably 50 hours over the past 5 days in this room, making abortive study efforts.

With the room as dishevelled as it is, no wonder I'm not productive. I'm looking forward to exams being done if for no other reason than I'll have time to clean my office.

I have the feeling these photos will send Whirly into shock and dismay!!! X-D

(yes, that is this forum on the computer screen. Bonus points if anyone can spot the Confront Your Demons promo on the desk.)
