the prodigy toilet seat cover definitly ranks up there in my book. unkles also got some cool promo mixes, which tend to be really limited and definitly put a dent in my bank account.

I got a cool little kerosene gas cigarette lighter free when i bought prodigy's fat of the land album way back when. U would fill it up with gas and it had a removable flint that u would strike against the side of the lighter to light it. Very cool, but maybe not a brilliant idea to give to a 17 year old delinquent such as myself :?

oh yeah! just remembered a weird single i picked up last year by a group called 'Selfish Cunt' and its called 'Britain is Shit'. Its kinda angry and stuff. it just came in little white paper bag, recorded on CDR, with a crappy pic of the two guys with 'while your arses bleed your government lead$' scrawled on their chests. Something tells me they might be making a political statement... :?

Just thought of another promo.

It's not the best, but I thought it was pretty funny. There's this annoying country artist named Gretchen Wilson who has a hit song called Redneck Woman. My store got these hideous orange and white trucker hats that said Redneck Woman on them, and people ate it up.

I assume they realise the irony of that particular promo! :)

I think a lot of the people I gave the hats away to did. Other people thought, "Ooooo how cool, free shit!" and they didn't care what it said. Who knows really. Trucker hats were big here for about 5 minutes, thanks to the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears. Personally I think they look hideous - so whiskey tango.

Welcome to the US, where it's cool to be a redneck...
