I haven't been able to sleep right for a while. I keep watching chem vids, listening to chem music, and freaking out because I'm still so excited. I even drank some beers and took sleeping pills and I still feel like I'm so pumped I could dance for hours, given a chem show right this minute.

Anybody have success defeating insomnia? It's getting old. It's getting especially old since I need to be at work at 5:30 am!

weed.

srsly, weed. I didn't go to bed before sunrise for about 6 years of my life, until I started smoking dope.

UA?

Try masturbation, that works to some extent.

Hypnotherapy worked for me. Struggled to sleep when I was at Uni, all it took was one thought and setting off a chain reaction and that was that. Hypnotherapy taught me to train myself to clear my mind and focus, and it's worked ever since. A kind of self meditation. Also means I can get by with little, if any, sleep if needed, as when I sleep it's really good deep sleep. Even managed 8 to 9 hours on a flight the other night (but that fucked up my body clock though...)

Or masturbation.

isn't masturbation supposed to get you excited... not tired?

Booze sure fire solution to your problem. Not just a couple of beers either hit the brandy. However you drink to much and chances are you will wake up hungover.

Watch some Chris Crocker videos. You'll need to sleep right away because he's so tiring...

I was about to ask who Chris Crocker is, but that would probably explain why I'm going to fall asleep while watching them.

excercise, a natural herb called Valerian, going to bed at the same time every night and sex are good ways to help you sleep.

I swear I didn't get more than 4 hours of sleep per night the week leading up to the Chemicals' gig.

But I'm a dork, so... erm... yeah. Big surprise.

Normally, I end up falling asleep on the couch trying to stay up just late enough to catch Stephen Colbert's The Word, but I end up crashing and I have to be dragged into bed. I don't know what it is about me and couches - I fall asleep on ours almost every single night (with the exception of the week preceeding a Chems gig, heeehee)

What works VERY very well for me is L-tryptophan.

Google it.

I'm def a google kinda guy :) I'm all up for some good sex before bed.... problem is that my girlfriend i.e. my synthesizer, usually isn't in the mood. *shakes head* She's always got some excuse. She always gets turned on, then she wants me to play with her, push her buttons, tweak her a little, but not go any farther.
