Bros!

I saw one of your gigs in Brixton a year or so ago and was inspired. It was the first time I'd seen DJ's give a shit about relavant visuals. Almost in time too ;-)

Since then I went away and learnt programming, coz I was convinced of some ideas I had to make video mixing live and to the beat and expressionate. You guys appreciate making digital things live and that was also the principle behind my work. I wanted a video interface that could be used to inspire that thingly thing I still get listening to Sunshine Underground.

I just finished... result: an interface which beat matches clips from up to 12 channels of video or cutom vectors. It blows my mind.

I thought I'd get in touch with you guys first since you inspired it. If you're interested in you should have my email under this username.

Hope you get in touch, would be ace to do some experiments...

Peace, eD

I did a similar thing too. Much like what Meat Beat Manifesto and Cold Cut are doing. If the chems could do visuals like that....well...i'm not saying I don't like their current visuals, but it would be pretty sweet.

I'm highly interested in seeing any of this stuff. After seeing stuff like Audiosurf, I can imagine how this synchronization might be programmed and it fascinates me.

What programs do you use to make such visuals?

Speaking of Meat Beat Manifesto: isn't it the Song to the Siren beat , is it?

I do believe the chems took that one from Jack.

Storm The Studio - 1989

Exit Planet Dust - 1995

Both amazing songs though. Mannn, I really wish MBM would get some larger exposure. Sooo under-rated.
