So, I got round to checking out some of T & E's trax of '09 (as chronicled on the main site). I already had big love for Paul White, so was pleased to see Tom charting it, but 'Swinging Party' by Kindness as recommended by Ed was all new....

Ill leave you to make you own minds up, but I think its amazing - I cant stop listening to it! Its such a simple, pure groove and song, and it just does something to that area between my stomach and my ribs. Cheers Ed

Not bad. Rather chill track; I'll have to give it a listen from another source than the Vimeo--the videos I see on there skip at random moments during the feed. :(

Interesting mashup of footage from different pieces of visual media from the late '70s/'80s. Saw some Poltergeist in there. Scared the shit out of me as a kid.

it is quite downtempo fo' sho' - its just one of those records that's got an atmosphere. plucks a heart string. happy and sad at the same time. a touch psychedelic.

i like that :D

Where are the "Share non-chemical music"-threads?

Anyways, I was just listening to the Infamous OST (which Amon Tobin worked on), and I found this non-Amon track that I thought was good enough to share. Thoughts?

swinging party is ace.

the beat sounds like 'is it all over my face' slowed down. similarties end there mind...

lovely number.

on a similar tip the wizards sleeve edit of midlake's roscoe has been pressed up on vinyl. lovely sleeve too.

Yeah, it's a nice track, carried mainly by the pschedelic vocals.

@mchebne: I do love the wizard sleeves. They've done some quality remixes and have decent releases by themselves.

yep, i agree the vocals make that track - its almost a bit 'golden path' they way the backing vox start to break a bit at the end of the track....

and the BTWS stuff is excellent, that roscoe mix is great.

when i hear swinging party i think of T&E angry about that they didn't wrote that beautiful track. real nice downtempo song. also works in a dj set pitched up to 120 bpm! original speed is about 105-110.
