i considered black rainbows as trash the moment i heard it. Just doesn't suit TCM. Tweekend is a killer album though. Originally if asked which was my favourite album i would have said Vegas. However in recent years i guess my taste has developed and i would have to go with Tweekend. Gotta love the opening song.

I think I'm the only person who liked Black Rainbows :S Does anyone like Ladytron? I admit that this song isn't as good as just about anything by Ladytron, but it would have been so great if the Crystal Method could have called up the lead singer and put her on the vocals of Black Rainbows.

Nothings going to top Vegas as long as they think about making money instead of trying to put together something mind blowing. My favorate tracks are Trip like I do and High roller. I also like PHD, Wild sweet cool, Roll it up and Name of the game. You know..... I thought if they started smoking wet with meth again along with plunty of time to themselves. They would come up with something kind of like ( trip like i do ) or some dark side spacey sounding stuff. I think the next album after Divided by night is going to be a lot better. Because when people are 50/50 on weather its a good record it makes the artists work harder.

hahahaha

I'm sorry, i couldn't take a lot of that seriously orbitalflo. I agree that Trip Like I Do, PHD etc are great tracks...but start smoking wet with meth again?

the whole trip like i do name isn't what you think it is. "Supposedly" TCM arrived home one night and had a message on their answering machine. It was one of their friends just talking shit such as "why don't you trip like i do" (must of been on pills, acid etc).

In regards to the next album. I'm sure it will be a lot better if they don't get so many guest vocalists. IMO just stick with Peter Hook hahaha

I agree. Well said, Jittem.

Regarding Vegas, it is definitely my favorite by TCM and one of my top all-time choices in the electronic genre. It is a very complete, awesome album from start to finish. However, I don't think it is fair or realistic to compare new or future work with stuff that came out 12 years ago. Times and trends change, and although a band shouldn't mess with greatness, we should still expect them to evolve.

well put. i would like to see TCM release a breaks mix cd. I'm not talking like their community service cd's, more like what their live dj sets are like.

In a similar line of thinking, has anyone heard the new Massive Attack song? I'm not impressed at all compared to Mezzanine.

Here is a download of it (It's a very high quality and untouched radio rip)
