Live Music!!!

Fri 8th April 2005 @ The Tron, Edinburgh........

Carpe Diem - Established Edinburgh five-piece bring their infectious, guitar-driven melodies to the Clish Massive. More info @ www.carpediemband.com

"Edinburgh band Carpe Diem are another of Scotland's most exciting new bands. Influenced by the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Jeff Buckley, Incubus, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Police, Idlewild and U2, the 5-piece were among the highlights of the recent Edinburgh Rock gig at the Liquid Rooms." Jim Gellatly - www.beatscene.co.uk

Exitpilot - Atmospheric Alternative Rock from Glasgow. Recently played with the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Bluetones & The Glitterati. More info @ www.exitpilot.co.uk

Good Against Remotes - Edinburgh Based 5-Piece Indie-Rock band, draw influences from the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Pavement & The Smiths.

Ellipsis - Indie Rock 5-Piece from Fife make their Edinburgh Debut. They claim to be obsessed with Monkey's and Reggae. A recipe for success? Come and draw your own conclusions.

Last but not least, finishing the evening off will be over an hour worth of fantastic tunes from the one and only Big Sweaty, AKA Graeme (Is Not Is So). Trust me, this man's got taste.

Door tax = 5.

Doors open @ 7:00 pm.

Dave.
