He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

I'd like the singles disc 1, minus Let Forever Be, Leave Home, The Golden Path, and put in Dust Up Beats, Under The Influence, Elektrobank and Come With Us. Plus any new songs they've got (I haven't heard any of them yet, I'm waiting for the album)

I'd like to hear what the Chemical Brothers do with The Duke in a live setting. I also thought it would've worked very well in their dj set last time I saw them - but I can't complain, a 2 hour Chemical set (when I expected them to only play an hour/hour and a half tops cuz it was a festival) is nothing to sneeze at.

As for my dream set list, I'd be happy with anything the Brothers throw at me. Of course there's songs I'd like to hear (Private Psychadelic Reel being one I haven't heard live yet) but I trust their judgment in this matter. They'd know what sounds best and what flows best!

When I saw them in 1999, they finished with The Sunshine Underground. In 2002, the ended with The Test.

That's weird, when I saw them in 2002 they ended with TPPR! That was as part of the Come With Us tour (Portsmouth Guildhall!)

I think part of the reason why they didn't close both times with TPPR was because they were playing the Coachella Festival, and the sets were condensed because of time limits.

I don't know how it is with festivals across the pond, but in Indio (where Coachella is held - along with other venues I've seen concerts at) there are various city ordinances. And the one most glaringly apparent is the "shut-down at 12" one. So basically, everyone turns into a pumpkin after the stroke of midnight, including the musicians. When I saw the Chems dj for the first time, it was at Coachella. They squeezed in Hey Boy Hey Girl as a closer, but the lights went on and the set sort of... stopped, they had to kind of skid the song to a halt. You could tell Tom and Ed were a lirritated with that, since by that time the crowd forgot about the hot weary day and everyone was on their feet savoring the final moments of a great day.

i think tom and ed should more b-sides in to their set even if it is just one or two to their next tour.as some of there b-sides are brillant and deserve live versions.
