Is this forum still under development or what?
I see that the surface2air account has been brought back to life, as well as the mysterious 'glint' profile.
But what did we gain? Was this update really necessary? We still have spambots registering and spamming the place, we got an irritating language filter, and anType is a n00b again.
IMHO, it only got worse. We hoped this update would've been a step forward, but we actually took 2 steps back.
Or am I seeing it all wrong?
Forum
So... Lemme think about this for a sec

yeh right, shoot me and call me jemima - i agree with slipvin 8O
at the end of the day - this forum is still unbelivably fucked.
its not fair to expect its members to have to act as spam board-cleaners on a day to day basis.
the thing the admin has done hasnt worked - we are still getting spam.
as much as i dont want to see the old posts deleted, i really feel its time for an upgrade. using bens replacement has def been a marvellously refreshing change.
WE NEED A WHOLE NEW BOARD!!

OK - glint is me. The admin replied to a pm I sent on Monday night and asked that I set up a new account to be enabled for modding.
So on a whim this morning, I did. It is not my intention to hide or confuse anyone and I did not know that the glint account would be activated for modding so soon. I"ve only been able to log in just now since I am on a break at work. I am personally not keen on hiding behind another name, and wish our regular user names could be enabled for mod duties - but figured now was not the time to bother the admin because I am sure he has his reasons for handling the mod accounts the way he does.. I just wanted to do something to help clean up around here. So... I apologize for any confusion with the mysterious glint!!
