oh i got removed as spam there, ill try this again.....
Greetings to you one and all!!
Im new to the chems forum and thought id start off by introducing myself to everyone. Well im from Ireland and have been a huge fan of the brothers for many, many moons ever since i had the mind melting experience of seeing them play live at the point back in '99. Anyway introductions aside this forum is a forum of discussion and discuss we shall. About three years ago me and a mate were in the pub discussing musical collaborations we'd like to see (as you do). I remeber saying id like to see 'Q-Tip' and 'Chemical Brothers' collaberate recalling q-tips excellent work with the beastie boys on ill communication. Low and behold a year later 'Galvanise' was released, cool or what?. So who would you like to see the chemical brothers work with? (dont kill me if this has been asked before , im new). You never know maybe Tom or Ed will see your post and the seed will be planted

Welcome.
Sadly the board has been overrun by countless of spambots, due to an admin who neglected to do his job properly. (he probably just died while playing admin for too long and his rotting carcass is still sitting at his desk smelling funny)
Anyway, better try your luck here: http://benji.ng.free.fr/index.php
It's an alternative Chems forum.
Or do you want to be stuck here with me, the infamous Slipvin?

Inflamous! Inflamous!
So while YOU are here, can you recommend any of overseers albums? Got interested in since you've spoken of him.
He only has one album.
It's called Wreckage, was released in 2003 and you'd better get it because his sound is even bigger and bolder than The Crystal Method.

Aha ok, thanks. Yeah, i think Crystal Method's quality has dropped with their Legion of Boom. Was a big dissapointment to me when i listened to it for the first time.
Yeah, Legion of Boom, apart from a few tracks, was a huge disappointment. But you should check out their soundtrack for the movie 'London' (with Jason Statham) which is really good. Every track is a winner!

Some tracks were good, indeed, but nothing more. It lacked the inspiration and creativity. Why ain't some proper bigbeaters out there with some oldschool shit and real samples i love so much??? Like RJD2 in 2003 where he was sounding like someone that came from 1995!
P.: On the London ST have they produced all the tracks? Sounds sexy. Will have a look.

It's definitely worth getting. If these tracks were put on LoB, along with the likes of Born Too Slow, I Know It's You and WoMD, it would've been a corker!

id have to say 'vegas' was there finest hour. Vaguely reminisent of the brothers work in some parts i.e. 'keep hope alive'
Vegas is good, but I'd have to say I dig Tweekend better. Big beats and heavy guitars, what more do you want? I was hoping for a more rockier sound on LoB, but it was more of a pitiful re-run of Vegas.
Have put Vegas on my phone btw.
Also dig their collabo with Filter for the movie 'Spawn'.
