Daft Punk have made some good tunes but all in all their work often reminds me of unfinished tracks sounding like work in progress, and another thing that bothers me is their loop style. Same thing over and over again (esp. on HAA) . . .

Dude, they're robots... give 'em a break X-D

When Homework came out, it was still in the 'Industrial' section of the record shop.

Meh, they're all in the "Electronic" section of the music store now. Industrial is in the "Metal" section, for the most part, or "Pop/Rock". :D

Homework is better than Push The Button.

Daft Punk should go make some kick ass techno like on their debut EP 'The New Wave'. But I'm probably talking about fairly unknown territory here...

But it's amazing to love u'r music so passionately. Cheers to you slipvin. I just don't know how many of us Chems fans (read worshippers) would second your blanket statement.

cant believe how everyone on here is debating daft punk still, you all seem to be going round in circles.

as for slipvin comment on push the button vs homework, i think he is right. id go for homework outta the 2!

You know, you're just about the only person here who could say that, and not have me tell you to go eat a big bag of dick.

8O 8O 8O Homework > PTB OR SURRENDER 8O 8O 8O

No way man, Homeworks works only on the dancefloor but PTB works on numerous levels beyond from you and I.

hmm, I think Homework and any chems album are not the same kind of music.

Nevertheless, I definitly think Around the World is the best dance track ever...

Yeah, I think. And I wouldn't class Galvanize in the best dance track anyway, but it's my opinion. Around the World has the best bassline ever... Anytime I hear it, it makes me want to dance :D

That's just Francophile isolationism talking... Goddamn frogs, just because britain saved your asses from fascism, you don't have to take it out on the Chems. :P

the force of Around the World (and other tracks such as Da Funk, and many chems tracks) is that you can recognize them in a second. That bassline in Around the World, the noisy bass in Da Funk, the sound at the beginning of HBHG...

I really think that Galvanize is on its way to become huge! Its commercial and underground succes is going to exceed most electronic tracks....give it a few more years. :D
