What do you tell a die hard Chemical Brothers fan who just missed them live at Big Day Out in Auckland? I have been waiting 3 years to see them live and I missed it :( Help me out here guys!!!

well, the circumstances were kinda like this; my ride home was at the beastie boys and i was there too, they didn't want to go to chemical brothers (idiots) and so we stayed till the end of beastie boys at which time they decided they would go to chems. By the time we got there we had no chance of getting in. Anyone think its stupid of me to make a resolution to fly overseas to see them live before the end of the year? I don't ;-)

if i were you, i'd (seriously) jump on a short flight to melbourne or adelaide to catch one or both of those shows.
after doing BDO 99 in sydney, i jumped on a motorcycle and rode to adelaide (20+ hours each way) to do it again.
rest assured, your "friends" are evil and will burn in hell }:-) ;-)

I think there's only One solution to save yourself.
Fly to Amsterdam (where you can do Everything you want!) and
Party with us in Holland. (february 24)
You where very very very stupid to wait for people who are
visiting the beastie boys.
Not that I don't like the beastie boys but The Chem Brothers LIVE!!!!!
That's just something you don't wanna miss.

Haha Amsterdam is kinda a no can do situation (I have school...of which im already missing the 1st few days 8) ) I live in new zealand and Amsterdam is a bit far away. I think ill be headin over those ways at the end of this year though. Might hit Ibiza ;-) Yeah Beastie Boys were really good but I had to stay because the guys I was there with were my ride home...and I couldn't walk haha
BTW: already got my ticket for the show in Adelaide Feb 4th!

Yeah theres no way im missing it twice in a row!! I've never been to Holland, but I'm austrian so its not too far from there. Haha watch out next time I'm in Europe!! :D
S'pose at least I have something to look forward to though...'cause yesterday was a shitter, my car was broken into and my $1000 plus stereo was stolen (thats equivalent to 500euros!) }:-@ }:-@

I tell you all about the show in Amsterdam.
To keep the chemicals alive in Australia ;-)
I was a little bit stressed out because of the tickets,
somebody else was taking care of the reservation
and i thought O my god...what if something goes wrong }:-@
and we THINK we have tickets and it's a misunderstanding or whatever!!!
Damn i'm gonna be sick if something goes wrong!
Hope for the best and I tell you all about my chem experience

ahh the set in adelaide was awesome...even though i remember absolutely nothing in detail about the show (or even how i got back!)
Just remember i had an awesome night and back now in nz its all rainy...kind of like a comedown aye ;-)
all in all a great lil holiday, even for the cost to my pocket, and i have made a resolution to see them live at least 1 more time this year! doesnt matter where or when. Hopefully it happens. Cheers guys (specially you robot.mx... }:-@ ) peace

i am glad you enjoyed yourself in adelaide. lucky you is all i have to say. while you were inside enjoying the tunes, i was still outside looking for a way in and eventually stuck in what almost turned out to be a riot. 250 people trying to squeeze through a door less than a metre wide. and then the cops elbowing me in the head and pushing me back into the pack. these events put a dampener on what was otherwise a stellar day. so all i have to say is screw all of the people who got into see them and the same to all the police who were letting plenty of people out and noone in. thanks for ruining a great day lads. you seem to pretty good at it.

yeah i heard about all that shit with the cops n all. Lucky i got in real early though... was a great night...sux to hear that fendium but i'm sure ur next concert will just be the shit! (haha you can even be like me and make a resolution to go see the chems live at least once before the end of the year...no matter where ;-) )
and robot.mx...thats just about a lil "jump off a cliff" comment. Its the past tho so peace brother!
