We'll have to start a fitness music thread, but non-chems stuff because I don't like to assosiate The Chems with pain.

When you have 10 cats  like I do  you have to clean regularly. And like Iguanapunk I don't like to associate the Chems with pain, or mundane chores for that matter, I prefer to savor their music for good times.

But I need some new music to mop the floors to. At the moment The Prodigy Invaders Must Die seems to get the floors done real well. I need some more suggestions, something hard and fast to clean to.

I don't know, I enjoy cleaning and being all domestic in that sense. I find it kind of zen in a way, almost relaxing. The fruits of my labor mean my family live in a clean house and it's presentable when people come over - yeah I can be house proud. With the exception of permanently screwing up my hip flexor while moving my sofa (there were crumbs and bits that needed cleaning up dammit), I don't really associate cleaning with pain. So for me, anything goes when I'm cleaning or tidying up. I like to open up my windows when I clean, so what I listen to kind of depends on the weather I'm inviting in. The last lengthy cleaning session I listened to some Bob Marley. It's summer, my son was out, husband was at school so it just felt right. But other times it's been Chems, Fatboy, Underworld, whatever comes up on shuffle can be fun (if you find cleaning enjoyable, anyway). Classical music is also great for that sort of thing.

So, OK... That was an unnecessarily lengthy post about my housekeeping habits. I guess I'm a bit OCD, too. :p

Used to go to a gym that was playing Michael Jackson and the Pet Shop Boys constantly, the atmosphere was quite queer, that music plus muscular man in tight shirts working out all around you, but i loved going to that place.

Today's cleaning session was extremely well enhanced by the Underworld Anthology. That has some seriously good music on it.

I'm sure I've mentioned the time I was in a gym changing room full of sweaty naked men, whilst Mavin Gaye's Sexual Healing was playing in the background.
