Well that's exactly what I did.. I inserted the CD in my computer, launched iTunes and clicked 'Import'.. then I connected my iPod and transfered the files.. Everything worked smoothly.

i think you might have been ripped off. You bought an Ipot. ;-)
just download the album....if you piad for it, then you have every right to download it in my opinion. Just remove it from your shared folder after you get it. : )

theres these things you get in france. My french assistant in school has one there like mp3 players and tht all in one but its cheaper holds more than an ipod and apparently can do a shit lot more.
He said just about anything that goes onto a computer , programs software videos songs pictures etc can be stored in this portable device...i forget the name of it but he defined it as a ''Portable HDD'' there the things to get definately...i asked him cud ya get them say here (belfast) he said no...in france you can. so must mean you cant get them in britain. Any french people on the forum can tell you/me a bit more about them. they sound class! better than them expensive iPod's shite

Yeah my friend has got this amazing thing called Gmini , you can put everything on it , movies , music , games , pics , and you can even watch the movie on it. it's really small.
Anyway i love my ipod. Its a good solution if you travel a lot !!! Much easier than taking 60 cd's with you

I bought it before like all this mp3 player and ipod shit was released, i dont regret it cause its a class creation very slim and nice sound plus a big sound and a snazzy little tuner bit tht clips onto loose clothing! cost me about 50-60 quid... its a pasonic too:)

Way back in the day when I was a wee child, before the walkman and before I got my first boombox, I would carry around a tape recorder. Talk about having crappy sound, you couldn't even plug headphones into it and it just had one cheap speaker - plus it weighed a ton. I remember my brother's and my first walkman. It was revolutionary! Imagine that, a portable cassette player that could fit into your backpack and it only weighed as much as a brick!! ;) He got a Sony, and they were the only ones on the market for a while til the other brands (like mine, it was hitachi, blue metal which I thought was so cool!) started coming up with their own versions of the walkman. I remember it cost my parents a small fortune because the technology was so new.
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle
